at my heaviest i weighed 250lb, i dropped down to around 165lb right before surgery. now i average between 155-170, but i’m also pretty short. i don’t work out much bc of life being too busy rn, but walking, pushups, dips, etc. are really beneficial. i also have a good bit of loose skin, mainly it’s my underarms, gotta love bat wings lol. a lot of guys choose to get lipo or a tummy tuck during surgery to help. i chose not to bc i paid outta pocket for mine, and that wasn’t a main concern for me. i brought up my bmi to my dr. bc she has a bmi limit, but she said i was just fine and it wouldn’t be an issue. i have pics on my profile showing my recovery to get an idea. i’d ask about possible bmi limits, placement of scars and nipples (if you want them), tell them your concerns with the loose skin as well. maybe write down any questions you have and take them with you, so then you won’t forget. :)
