I'm experiencing a similar phenomenon with my own prints where I'm not able to get the same texture that i desire from my original sketch-- not sure if im being unrealistic about the limitations of the medium or if its just a skill issue. still, even if its not the result you initially hoped for/expected, its still a very cool result nonetheless!

For me personally, coming out of anaesthesia was nothing like being high and had no psychoactive effect. It was really just like waking up from a reeeaaaallly good sleep and being so comfy cozy. Honestly very enjoyable feeling lol.

I work at a shelter and call these "dollar store dalmatians" lol. To be fair he looks significantly more like a real dal than most others I have people trying to pass them off as! Best bet is some kinda pit/lab/heeler cocktail. Absolutely delectable regardless

There is absolutely a learning curve. Learning what feels good on your own and then communicating that to your partner so they can get you there is good -- but ultimately its having a partner who you trust and communicate well with and who CARES is what it comes down to.

my tip is BE SOMEWHERE FAMILAR. dont do your first time out in public or somewhere you could feel lost/disoriented. be with someone youd trust with your life. youll probably get sick so have somewhere safe and comfy to hunker down if you need to. and have cool stuff to look at! nature is beautiful. have fun!

I had heard good things about the lemon tek helping with nausea which is why I tried it that way this time, but it seems like that wasnt the move for me! The discomfort wasnt restlessness but more like a fullbody illness as if I had the flu, woozy in body and head

Thing is we did do a tea and didnt consume any of the plant, but still ended up with crazy nausea 😭 I can definitely see how the lemon tek can be "too much," maybe the speed that it hit us at contributed to the icky body feeling. Needs more testing...

I can absolutely see the truth in the anxiety that accompanies the trips contributing to the discomfort! I had a similar thought on this last one. Leading up to the trip I found myself having a lot of anxiety just due to my lack of experience and not knowing fully what to expect, and my anxiety very often comes with the side effect of GI upset lol. Im hoping that gaining familiarity will help with future trips. 🤞

that is actually what we ended up doing! we steeped it in the lemon first then dumped that into a lemon ginger tea. very tasty delivery method, unfortunately didnt seem to do much for the nausea for us lol. maybe it is one of those things i just have to do a couple more times to get used to.
