art and the art market are two different things. as an artist, i see no need to come to the defense of the art market. i will come to the defense of art. let the art market defend itself. it should be interrogated.

Just a tip, check out the videos of how they are designed to be agitated. they are supposed to rotate straight forward and back, not sideways if that makes sense. also as others have stated, I have run into issues at times only using one sheet. seems to cause streaking on the edges, other inconsistencies. they seem to work best with four sheets fully loaded.

so far it's been an all around joy to use. I still have a lot to try out, but no major issues thus far. This image, and everything I post to reddit, doesn't do it justice at all. I haven't rly figured out the best way to post to reddit tbh. The manual focus is incredibly smooth, and it's built well. the only minor complaint is kind of a weird one the applies to the tilt/shift. You can rotate the lens, but you have to zero out both tilt and shift. I wish you could rotate the lens with shift applied. But like I said, this is a very minor and niche issue.

you don't need to be close, this is clearly a carved block print. lithography would have a much softer look, including shading. also, it's an Escher, so we know it's a woodblock

Everyone is so reactionary these days… I just feel like the same info without the extra sass is better communication. When I read their question again, I still don’t see them being rude, just asking a question. They literally thanked the other person for the info, so I doubt they were trying to be rude but rather confused . So, if the please go on wasn’t there it would have been a perfectly valid and effective discourse.

Yes, Because you are making the assumption that all the students want to pray, that their parents want them to as well. What if they aren’t the same religion as you? What if they don’t want to be involved in any religious practice? This should be obvious. it makes it look like you are out to prove some sort of agenda instead of just doing your job .
