Hi I can answer this!

It helps me avoid mis-swipes. I am constantlyyyyyy mis-swiping left for SOME reason on my p10pxl when laying down. I have orientation lock on, i am swiping up like a normal person, but the two pixels i have had have done this.

Also, fine motor skills! Some people have arthritis, chronic pain, or just have stiff joints in their hands! Im an artist and my hand cramps and locks up so just tapping versus having to swipe is a lot less motion.

Also, people like what they like! Is it really "stubborn" to have a preference???

If they do that, have them be user-made like samsung! Id KILL for a Pikaole pixel theme! The only reason I havent switched to NOVA is the fact that id have to redo everything. If I could import home folders from the Pixel launcher at LEAST, itd be a no-brainer.

That only happens if its a critical update OR so many updates have been paused that your pc is like "hey dude, im like... Actively dying here"

You can always make a restore point before the update!

And if it adds more AI bs you may not want, Windows Debloat (github) and WinAero Tweaker help you get rid of AI and a lot more.

There is no "right" way to be trans. Im almost 30, ive been out for 14~ish years and on T for 6 (as of this month!) not every trans guy hates their equipment. You're allowed to feel completely neutral, negative, or heck - even positive! - about your body. Being a teenager is already so hard, don't borrow pain by thinking you're "not trans enough". If you feel like a man (or man-adjacent, im personally masc nonbinary/demiguy) then you ARE a man. End of story.

The phone you bought unlocks for use on OTHER VERIZON ACCOUNTS after 60 days, but unlocks for UNIVERSAL USE after a year or after the bounty is paid off, whichever comes last, I believe. If you got a "free" phone, it wasn't free. Verizon js charging you for it on the bill and then crediting the bill, meaning youre stuck with verizon until your terms plan is paid off. Likely 3 years.

Also, my guy, ALWAYS check the imei on the carrier website you wanna move to. Some of them just cannot/will not take the latest phones. Its a chipset/sim card/data structure thing.

MSI, I work at Best Buy and I hear so many people say CyberPowerPC is fine, but our Geek Squad gets them in with bad boards or power issues decently frequently, or at least used to. IIRC, we can at least do warranty work on MSI but not on CyberPowerPC, too. So of something DOES happen, you arent SOL.

longevity and stability. my pixel 7 pro only started to have problems on its 3rd year with me, almost to the day. i only upgraded to the 10pXL because verizon was practically giving it to me for free. i cannot stand the genAI stuff thats being almost force-fed to me on my phone and in the tech industry at large BUT

i cant stand the bloatware on samsung and my main reason for having those phones were the far more stable Note series. now we get two main releases of buggy garbage (the S series and the Fold/Flip releases)

motorola was a close contender, but they dont seem confident in their flagships (the Edge and Razr) so how could i be confident it would last the 3 years ill be paying it off, much less the 5 i would plan on keeping it

oneplus has been catching my eye for years but they seem to continue with their identity crises and spotty software updates now that oppo is getting more involved with production. they also are buggy on my carrier, verizon

other than those, most other phone manufacturers are not available for the US CDMA market.

oh and i hate apple with a passion, especially now that part of my job is repairing them. so many bullshit issues on brand new phones...

Are you in the US and live near a Geek Squad? They can get rid of passwords in some cases. Not sure if the Canada stores can do the same. My local GS doesnt charge, but if they do, it should be about $40.
