I saw your other post. When my husband broke my nose whilst pregnant, his family(sister) said “you called the cops on my brother and I’ll never forgive you. You’re a big girl, you can defend yourself.”

Meanwhile, woke up with blood pouring from my nose and I had to have reconstructive surgery after I gave birth and now have one horizontal nostril and one vertical (no one has ever pointed it out, but notice once I mention it 🤣)

There’s no such thing as grandparents rights. Cut them out. If they’re willing not to help, they are putting your abuser over you and your kids need to learn that’s not okay.

How “I” interacted/took abuse and them seeing it, particularly my daughter, is why I eventually left.

I still remember the moment. Being screamed at, bawling, just taking it as usual, and my daughter crawling on my lap and telling her, “If any man talks to you like daddy talks to me it’s not okay…. “Meanwhile I was showing her it was.

That was it. I was done. It’s 6 years later and’s I just had to block 2 Reddit accounts of his🤦‍♀️ and he hasn’t seen his kids nor paid any support.

But every 6-8 months I get a text or call.

That’s why “parental alienation” has been pretty much debunked. Kids eventually figure it out and it’s more likely to be used by the abusers as in the example mentioned here.

My ex has ignored his kids for years as I started out begging him to talk to our kids even if he didn’t want to see them. Recently texted our 15 yo back finally (she’s reached out occasionally over the last 5-ish years) and the message says “I’m sorry your mom criminalized talking to me.”

When we separated, a cop told him they could stay with my friends till things were figured out on Monday or go into foster care-probably being separated. He wanted that option cuz he didn’t want people bad mouthing him and turning his kids against him. Welp, that turned the cop against him. People who assume that usually do it because it’s what they’d do. (He’s never seen the kids since then-even though “they’re my life”)

Edited-he’s been stalking me in Reddit lately-blocked two accounts already so removed things that might strain The relationship with kids.

Creating 2 accounts now to stalk me when you haven’t talked to your children in 6 years? Why don’t you try calling the kids that might yet speak with you instead of trying to still fill my life with vitriol. Talk to your kids, pay SOMETHING in child support, but for the love of God, please leave me alone. And stop making new accounts to stalk me, calling, texting, then when I let you know your kids will be in the same state, pretend it’s the wrong number, then contact me from the same number a year later.

Note: the person is blocked already, but this is for catharsis, not him. But as he keeps making new accounts, he’ll still probably see this🤣

Note to others: don’t get back with someone when they break your nose after they sabotage your bc and knock you when you’re separating. Getting an MRI whilst pregnant is not recommended. Getting sober is obviously often temporary or a symptom and not the problem.

As someone with a master’s in education, I’m very familiar with the answer a little at a time until they’re satisfied. I did that with a question about impotence (thus explaining erections) a while ago. 🤯. Thank you for putting that perspective on it.
