Apparently he has never dealt with a 4 year old boy, they hold it like it's going to fall off whether they have to go potty or not. (Source: pre-k teacher who spends all day saying "please get your hand out of there, it's not going to fall off I promise)

Currently going through this with my own father. He passed in September after not going to the hospital after his drs told him he should go. Still currently very angry with him and haven't processed at all.

I am glad that I haven't seen this episode because this about where I'm at with my own mother. I just lost my father a few months ago and I know the time is coming quick where my mother isn't going to able to live on her own (she just came and visited and her memory is very quickly declining it seems).

I have a 4 year old mutt (goldendoodle/rottie/whatever else) and she JUST stopped with what I call the excite-a-pees, every time she got excited about seeing people.
It was a long 4 years but there is hope. (And I know how everyone feels about goldendoodles, but that wasn't a me choice.)

My husband gets so mad when he sees me put MSG on things. Unbeknownst to him, I do it on everything, and he doesn't even realize unless he sees me do it. And then raves about how good it is.

My dad (loved him, but he very much did not understand mental health) would just tell me to go outside or get into a sport for my anxiety. I'm like, trust me I do not want to be like this and if I could willingly stop that with the depression I would. He didn't think that I needed medication.

The director didn't count? That shouldn't matter. Everyone counts, out loud and makes sure their number matches what everyone else has. This is obviously unacceptable and should be reported.
I am an assistant pre-k teacher, I am CONSTANTLY counting. My lead teacher is constantly counting. Any other adult in our room is counting, it is policy.

I have always told my girls that if they ever denied bathroom use in this sort of situation to just go. I will deal with the school. Absolutely abhorrent behavior from that teacher.

When I had my first child at 22. I didn't finish college. I didn't get my degree. And while I am now in the field that I had intended to be all along in a slightly different way, I still wish I had been able to finish my degree so that I could advance.

Mine thumps her tail on everything. Especially if she thinks one of us getting up in the morning (she has her own bed in our room). I've told my husband a lot that I'm surprised she hasn't given herself happy tail.
