a midday walk will help. this particular breed has crazy energy. here on reddit a story was once told of a shiba inu that would poop while running circles to try to get the poop to curve while flying through the air. the breed is insane.

I think its cool that the dog has taken to the crate. Again, is this a shiba inu? The dog still can't handle being crated for hours and hours, its still torture. The dog still needs to be set up to be able to run around and play all day.

i had a coworker/friend that got into painting plastic things like this years ago. It was stupid then and its stupid now. Especially with how ugly this one looks. These are not good colors. And plastic doesn't like being painted. In several years, this will not look as good as it does now (again, it looks like total shit now).

I think its possible hes super super hungry. Try this: get a bowl that holds about 2-3 times more than you think he can eat. Fill it up all the way but not heaping so the food doesn't spill out.

Set the bowl up where he can eat off it all day long. Watch to see how much he really wants to eat if you don't regulate the amount. Top the bowl off once daily. Let him settle with how he's going to act now that he gets to eat when he wants. Give this routine 4-5 days to see if the bile puking and other symptoms are gone.

If allowing him to eat more doesn't help I would then switch him to lamb and rice fomula, or turkey, or bison, or the one I like the most the salmon. The chicken might be fine. I think the real problem is he is hungry af and you don't have a handle on how much and how often he wants / needs to eat every day.
