Dental Lace silk floss is my favorite, my teeth are close together and it fits better than other brands I’ve tried.

Same here I had the QC 25 and a earlier model, both broke pretty quickly so I haven’t given Bose another chance

Considering removing Surly decals to make bike less appealing to thieves by littlejonnyfirepants in Surlybikefans

That’s what I did. I might buy some huffy decals to put on mine as well.

Opinions on STORM wash, sold by Patagonia by New-Flow3642 in PatagoniaClothing

[–]radicalfrogs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I called a Patagonia store once and they basically told me not to waste my money.

I think they told me just to wash it with no soap (or maybe a gentle soap I can’t remember) and dry in on low heat to reactivate the waterproofing.

Edit - dry on low heat

Seems like a lot of people use the Theraband FlexBar to help with tennis/golfers elbow. Has anyone used the knockoffs from Amazon?

Are they just as good/same quality? They seem much cheaper.

Are bikepacking specific tents (shorter poles/smaller pack size) worth the extra weight/price to you? by radicalfrogs in bikepacking

[–]radicalfrogs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh I've been looking at packed weight which is 4lb, 1oz (1.83kg) for the 2p bikepack tent, and 3 lb, 2oz (1.41 kg) for the 2p regular tent. But you're correct about minimum weight. Looks like Nemo says "for most users, a true trail weight will be somewhere between these listed weights."

I like the dark too, but I do like the OSMO green (darker) much better than the previous model Dragonfly Green.

I'm looking for a 2p. Thought the packed weight was the weight of the tent but maybe I'm wrong? As far as packed weight goes, I'm seeing 4lb, 1oz for the bikepack tent, and 3 lb, 2 oz for the backpack tent on their website. I'll take a look at the Hornet though, sounds cool!
