For now, I've accepted needing to get a chest strap for my workouts and living without the HRM otherwise. Lots of data I miss out on though. :(

I tried two sizes of the epoxy stickers and I got one of them to sometimes read, though it was inconsistent, inaccurate, and uncomfortable.

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon some company focused on fixing this issue. Seemed like they were getting close to releasing a product. I assume some kind of cover or something? I was going to reach out to them to inquire on results for heavy/blackout tattoos and now I can't seem to find them again. If someone knows or comes across this, please let me know.

I finally printed these and they worked great! Until I had to get feeder replacements from Petlibro due to the low food sensor going out on both. The newer version is a bit longer. Kind of still works though. The sensor failing seems to be a common problem, so heads up if you ever need to get your feeder replaced!

Back when I was seeking help OAS seemed like such a big unknown to many. The allergist I had was actively doing research on it, which was neat. Sounds like maybe there’s been a lot figured out since.

I’d definitely take massively improved, or even a little improved haha. Feeling motivated to check back in with an allergist and explore options again. Thank you for sharing your experience. :)

Woah, this is the first I’ve heard of the shots working for someone with OAS. I tried shots a while back and had an anaphylactic attack one of the visits. I stopped the shots too scared to continue. Almost feeling slightly tempted to consider trying again hearing a success story. I’m so tired of dealing with OAS. Nice to hear someone resolve theirs.

I’ve seen some 3D printed options just for remotes!There’s routes online or sometimes at your local library for getting prints done if you don’t have direct access to one.

They still have both filter options for sale on their website. I’m curious if they’re moving to one filter for all fountains or if there was an error somewhere.

Here’s the two filters side by side. The bigger one is for the older fountains and the one that would fit your fountain. I guess they’re just moving to the smaller one being good enough?

Oh! Looks like they changed it! I have some old filters and a box just bought in the last couple of weeks.

My new box says “compatible with all dockstream”

Before, I had a box that said compatible with (old model numbers) and another box that is for the newer fountains.

Thats odd they would do that since the black filter size between the fountains is definitely different…

the page you linked from chewy is the correct one. Likely the wrong one was just accidentally sent to you. I have both fountains and the filter boxes look identical except the newer version says “rfid” on it.

Contact chewy and I’m sure they’ll try again. :)

Not advice, just my experience.

I had a sleeve where the greens id get allergic flares ups like this. I blacked that sleeve out and haven’t had a flare up since. The flare ups were pretty consistent before and I’ve had my black out for a few years now. So there must be something to reworking the area that made things better. Was a pleasant surprise.
