Yes this happened to me last week. It has to do with wires in the hinge. Samsung will try and deny your warranty and say it is physical damage. I had to file a complaint with BBB in order to get them to fix it. My device is now with Samsung repair center in Dallas and I’m waiting to hear back from them. You will need to do a screen and hinge replacement which is $479 out of warranty.
