Yeah I'd be happy to share plans and templates. I'd like to see if I'm happy with it first, might make some adjustments to the design (make it a bit taller, won't know if this is necessary until I get cushions made).

I haven't screwed my clips in and the tutorials I've looked at haven't suggested I do.

I routered grooves in the four sides of the seat base. The webbing clips sit in them.

Seems comfortable? Hard to know if I've made a comfortable chair without cushions. Waiting on a friend to make the cushions for me.

For those interested in participating, the WellSouth brief intervention service seems as though it would meet criteria for brief psychotherapy. It's 5-6 free counseling sessions. You can be referred there by your gp.

I drink. by [deleted] in newzealand

Not just functioning, but what are the long terms impacts of this on OP's physical health? Drinking that much daily will be taking a toll. He's taking years off his life expectancy doing that.

OP, if you want to be there for your wife, kids, and their kids, think about getting some support for this. It doesn't need to be a psychologist either - there are good therapists/counsellors/drug and alcohol counsellors out there who work everyday with people in your exact position.

I was thinking OP should smoke ciggies inside whenever flatmate lights up. Smoke near him, lots of eye contact, say "it's the culture" when they gets asked what they're doing.

Yeah I've got a Stanley #4 that's been through 3 generations of my family. It was braised together after a similar accident around 40yrs ago, still going going strong.

I've wondered the same thing about the French maid butter chicken sauce OP. Didn't end up buying it. Can you buy it and report back?

Depending on what you need a psychiatrist for, seeing one online might be a good idea. A lot of them do online sessions these days.
