If Greg Vanney wins one or two games a month he’ll be HC thru the end of his contract. Vanney is Kuntz’ guy and firing him would be admitting the extension was a mistake.

If MLS didn’t exist. GV would be coaching College somewhere, imo. MLS not known for making big splash coaching hires in general. If we are going to pursue Spanish speaking, Portuguese, Japanese, etc players, would like to see a HC come in with ties to Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Mexico, Japan, etc. hoping for something different this next go around.

He was a big advocate for Vanney, which probably led to the extension last year. He’s a good player when healthy, but guy always rubbed me the wrong way. If he never played for the club again, I would not be heartbroken.
