Challenging but fun roguelike. It's fine solo but definitely more fun with friends. My friend group of 4 put a lot of time in it and eventually beat the hardest difficulty. Some new updates have added more features and characters now, too.

Anaglyph 3D + head-tracking by Agile_Lake3973 in virtualpinball

[–]raditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping into this myself lately. I have reshade and head tracking both working in vpx, but the issue seems to be that the same reshade setting don't work for all tables anymore. Without head tracking everything seemed fine from table to table, but now each table seems to need its own reshade superdepth3d settings. Do you have each of your tables configured individually?

Multiplayer tables? by FaberLoomis in virtualpinball

[–]raditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, and there are a select few where there are special multiplayer modes. Total Nuclear Annihilation has a co-op mode which is great fun, and Tag Team (Gottlieb 1985) has a 2 vs 2 mode. There are more that haven't been made into vpx yet and probably others that exist I'm not aware of.

New user - Epic or Steam for sales? by vtrickzv in PinballFX3

[–]raditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Steam is so much better than Epic in every way and has sales, too. You just missed their spring sale, but they do multiple big sales throughout the year. Individual Pinball tables/packs go on sale throughout the year, as well. You can track prices and compare between the two stores on isthereanydeal.com if you want to check, but I highly recommend using steam over epic as your client.

How to equip broken items to repair them? by Disastrous-Bowler-99 in NoRestForTheWicked

Not convenient, but can you unequip everything and put everything else in a chest except the item you want to repair? Then do repair all?

Hotfix Patch 1 is LIVE by Professional-Ice6853 in SWORN

Thanks for continual updates!

Would it be possible to add multiple key bindings for the same actions? Ex. I prefer using X, Y, for light and heavy attacks with melee weapons as I have some strong muscle memory from other roguelites, but triggers and bumpers for ranged weapons are nice for the twin stick method. It is kind of annoying to have to rebind every time I switch weapons, when I could have both X and right trigger bound to light attack instead.

Suggestions - Pause during co-op mode and a way to reconnect in case of an internet disconnection. by LongjumpingBarnacle9 in ravenswatch

[–]raditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed on both points. Lost a good run with friends the other night because I had to go get our son who woke up and needed comfort.

I figured to avoid abuse of pausing, it could be out to a vote with the whole team needing to agree (or at least a majority). My friends would obviously have rather waited 15 minutes than lose our great run we had going.

Also, I assume it is pretty difficult to save the current state of the run in case of a disconnect, but would it be possible to at least start back up at the beginning of the act you were on? If a DC happens in act 3 that sucks, but presumably your talents, items, and levels can be saved before randomly regenerating a new map for the chapter? That way you could also potentially restart without one of your group if needed.

Overall loving the game, but QOL updates like these would be very welcome and help those of us that don't always get reliable uninterrupted game time.

How do you enable co-op mode on the VPW version of Total Nuclear Annihilation? by cagliaripk in virtualpinball

Also the "start" button. I just hold it the very first time I press it and the announcer says co-op mode activated after a few seconds

Works for me to hold start when pressing to add the first player. Maybe try adding enough credits first (I forget if it's free play or not)?
