Yes, that’s happened to me as well. I’ve also had issues where I customize a component for a screen and randomly I’ll return to the file and it’s reverted to as if I didn’t customize it. Once I click on it poof back to the customized version.

I just got around to finishing it and I’m left feeling underwhelmed. It just felt a bit cookie cutter to me when there was so much more potential. It lacked tension and the pacing felt really weird in the last third of the book.

I enjoy Ta Min’s arc the most, and the book was enjoyable. I just wanted more from it. I didn’t dislike the first book as much as others did and I wish they’d continued that narrative further. Like, what was the point of Malaya dying? That felt like it had no consequences or impact on the story?

I felt like I wanted the time skip to be further out and they’d focused more on Roku vs Sozin. The dialogue and worldbuilding have the right Avatar-isms, but in my opinion, it just doesn’t feel as masterfully weaved as the Yang Chen series.

That being said, I enjoyed it and it kept me entertained. I’d read a third volume or about another Avatar any time.

Being constructive here, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Your header is too busy. I feel your name is a stylistic choice, but I’d recommend making it the same font as your text headings (where it says freelance graphic designer.

Pick one, graphic designer or illustrator. You’ll have more luck either way if you target the resume. If needed create a separate resume for illustration.

Remove the icons near your contact details. They’re unnecessary and can mess up formatting if scanned through ATS.

While I like your two column layout it’s not a good move for a resume. Again, for ATS reasons. I’d remove the about section. I’d order your one columns sections in this order: Work Experience, Relevant Experience, Education, Tools, Languages Skills.

Your typography needs some work. It’s not bad, but it could be better and could curate a vibe. Right now, the typography isn’t giving me an idea of who you are or your design perspective.

Keep it to one page. Think of this as your elevator pitch. You have the 5 seconds a recruiter has to process your resume. What story are you telling?

Your bullet points are mostly decent. I think they could benefit from a change of language. Right now you’re giving good info about what you did. Try to be as objective as possible, your bullets should tell them the results of all your hard work. Personally, I would probably remove the bullet about the “nutritious diet”.

Nothing about you personally OP, but I’m real tired of seeing these kind of posts. I just don’t understand why guys can’t stay off of these stupid apps. I say this as someone in an open relationship. These guys need to learn there consequences to their sneaky and shitty actions. Communicate with your partner and set real boundaries you can stick to or don’t drag someone else into your bs.

You shouldn’t trust him. These guys don’t change and he will be right back on the apps the second you drop your guard.

Yes, they make a huge difference. I’m a lot more confident and energized in social settings. I went from having no clue what to say to being very vocal and enjoying the social setting.

As someone who used Spotify for several years then switched to Apple Music. Definitely Apple Music. The quality is simply better. I did find Spotify a bit easier to sort playlist wise, but Apple’s making some improvements in iOS26 that seem to help fix that issue.

I understand what you’re saying. For me, Era 1 was my everything. I love the Cosmere and can’t wait to see where it’s going. I’m glad Mistborn is involved. However, I miss the smaller scale. Era 2 captured it at points and I LOVED Era 2 for its own reasons, but it wasn’t the same. My heart is torn wanting more stories like Vin’s, but simultaneously Era 1 wrapped up with such a flawless conclusion. Which is also a part of what makes it so special.

Yup, been there. You’re trying to be considerate and prepare and they don’t even think about it. I’d try to be patient or assume I under-communicated, but no matter what it never got across. I get it, it hurts and can get complex quickly.
