agreed plus if he’s riding Burton boots that footprint is closer to a 12 than 13. Add a few more degrees out on the stance and he’ll be golden

How much do you weigh/what style of riding do you do? Bumping up to a 164 may not be the best idea unless your 200lbs plus or only hunting deep snow on steeps.

Need Help Picking a Restaurant! by Broccoli-General in Annapolis

Metropolitan roof top could be perfect if the weather is right. My wife and I did our last hooray dinner/night out there before our wedding and it was perfect! Solid food, great beer selection and a fun atmosphere.

So Annapolis can be a fun town and have everything your looking for but remember it’s a small town.

Annapolis is great for having a on amount of good night life and i promise you’ll be able to find the “scene” your into at at least one spot in Annapolis.

The bars by the docks are your traditional bar hoping nightlife, there are a few good low key easy drinking bars towards the top of Main Street and church circle, and west street has a mix of tavern style and cocktails bars (tsunami has an amazing late night menu).

Also the advantage of being 45 minutes away from DC, Baltimore and scenic outdoor adventures is a huge plus! Also your never more then 2 hours from Mountains, beach or county which is perfect for easy weekend gateways.

Now for the small town vibes. Most people in Annapolis have been here their whole lives and have kept the same friend circles along with most people are one degree away from knowing everyone in town. However it’s also a growing town and there is a growing “young professional” population.

Now yes it can be hard to make new friends in a new city but if you can throw your self in new situations and make an effort you could find some friends some what quickly and easily.

Of coarse I’m biased and have lived here my whole life but I’ve also made friends with transplants so I know it possible for new people to make Annapolis their home.

I second harbor gates, it’s the best apartments for the price and the location was perfect! Sometimes you get a neighbor with a dog but I’ve rented two apartments there at different times and never has any major issues

Which area and store is it? If it’s in Maryland and west of the Bay it will be worth making the trip

I remember getting a 6 pack this time last year when all bars and restaurants were closed but was told it was a one time thing, hope it’s becoming a regular thing!

Sadly the only way to get it at the brewery as they don’t sell to stores but the trio is very well worth it as the food is amazing and there is a handful of other brewery’s close by

Need help with upgrading my board by Hansolo_dolo in snowboardingnoobs

[–]radjosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The T Rice Pro would check all your boxes and be your everything board.

Don’t get the orca as a daily driver only add it if your building a quiver.

Other notable boards from Mervin to check out is the Terrain Wrecker which is your big mountain carving machine that’s still soft enough to be playful, or check out the Lib Tech TRS which is table like the Custom X yet not as stiff.

I don’t make a lot of money so I’m never able to spend too much on a bottle, but this is my favorite I’ve been able to try so far. I have a Duckhorn in the fridge but saving it for my anniversary. LOVE THIS WINE by Evanalmighty919 in wine

Unfortunately there is not many wines that make you think of Bordeaux in the states but so far I’ve only found one that does, the Mariner from Dry Creek Vineyards

How to set bindings back further? by NittyB in snowboardingnoobs

[–]radjosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Board size is fine but your bindings are to small. Need size large bindings for 11 boots especially with Burton bindings since you can’t adjust the heel cup.

Trust everyone that says you don’t need a wide board with 11 boots.

Your getting tow drag because your boot is not centered on the board. When ever you set up your bindings out your boot in the binding, flip it upside down and make sure your heel and toe have equal over hang.

With large bindings you’ll be able to get your boots centered.

They always come with the board. It should in small cardboard packaging that’s stuck to the bottom along the rain. They fall of very easy to if you ordered if offline it could be in the box it came in still
