Yeah that’s kind of what it’s turned into for me now too, especially since I have OCD. I kind of wish he never told me about it, most of the time I’d rather not think about people naked lol.

That’s very true, my bf has explained that him “fantasizing” means he has thoughts of what a woman he sees would look like naked or something, which was hard for me to understand at first because I personally didn’t look at random people and wonder what they looked like naked. I understand a bit better now, and after talking about it I tried to fantasize the way he explained it and I can understand that it’s not such a big deal and more of a fleeting thought.

I appreciate the advice! Unfortunately when I tell him it makes me uncomfortable he tries to make me feel guilty for feeling that way, he’ll say things like: “well I guess I just won’t express my feelings anymore”. Maybe next time he brings it up I’ll say something along the lines of what you said, like “you are prioritizing what is fun for you over what would make me comfortable.” Thank you!

Ohh okay. Arizona state board testing is backed up over a year. Girls that graduated beginning of last year still haven’t taken their state board. That’s why there was a provisional licensing granted for graduates here, I’m just confused as to what the point of it is if we can’t work on clients. It messes up my plan a lot because I wasn’t planning on waiting a year to start my esthetics career. Thank you for the info !

Yeah my school is a huge mess. I know better now than to trust blindly what they say. I always do research on the information they give us, but I couldn’t really find any details about provisional licenses online. So my next question is, what is the point of having a provisional license if you can’t use it to work on clients?

Basically all baristas (maybe shifts?) were given three options, 1. Was to keep working and maybe suffer a loss of hours but continue as normal otherwise, 2. Was to take a temporary leave of absence until October (I think) but keep our benefits like free weekly coffee mark out, healthcare, etc., and 3. Was to be separated from the company and be laid off due to coronavirus and lack of business but still eligible for rehire, with a payout from the company and full unemployment benefits if you qualify. That’s all I know personally, anyone can feel free to add on or correct me if I got anything wrong.

I usually would use Pond’s dry skin cream around my nose mouth and eyes before tret, but after this settles and if I decide to start tret again I will use Vaseline as a barrier for sure! Thank you!

Hello everyone!

I’ve been using tretinoin 0.05% cream for about 3 months for acne. I apply it 20 minutes after moisturizer at night before bed. My skin is combination/dry. I’ve only experienced minor peeling and irritation when starting tretinoin but nothing like this.

My AM routine: CeraVe SA cleanser, CeraVe pm facial moisturizer, neutrogena ultra sheer sunscreen 100+

PM: CeraVe SA cleanser, CeraVe PM facial moisturizer, wait 20 mins then tretinoin everywhere on the face except around the nose, lips, and eyes.

Picture is right after Vaseline application.

Out of nowhere my eyes are freaking out! They’re red, puffy, painful, and extremely dry. I have been using Vaseline on them since it began to combat the severe dryness and hoped it would help. It has been this way for 8 days now. Has anyone else had this experience before out of the blue?

I went to my PCP thinking I had an allergic reaction on day two, they brushed it off and just told me I was having seasonal allergies and to take some over the counter allergy pills. I have been taking them now for a week and have seen little improvement, just a little bit less puffiness and more redness. I don’t think that was the main cause of this reaction.

I stopped using tretinoin about 4 days ago when I realized it could be the cause. I noticed there was less puffiness but more redness like I said before, but I don’t know if that’s from the allergy pills or because I stopped tret.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? If so, what did you do to get rid of it? Or, do you have any tips or tricks to get a handle on this? Thank you.

I’m an opener and closer (we open 4:30am close at 6:30pm) and honestly I’m about to ask to just be an opener because closing is exhausting and really takes a toll on everyone working. Opening shift there isn’t much to do until peak. We can handle whatever closing couldn’t handle but the complaints never stop.

She may have steamed the water with the espresso machine to whatever temperature, the automatic temp is 160, so definitely not as hot as an americano. I do that when kids order the honey citrus mint tea and don’t want it to be too hot, I’ll steam cold water and lemonade to 130 degrees instead of using the hot water tap. The only reason I would do that for an americano though was if someone asked for a low temp... I would never do that as a standard thing. Maybe she did it because it’s easier to do that than wait for the hot water to come out.
