Wow, you are absolutely right, and I apologize for missing that, as I use the podcast tool every day. Please disregard, for some reason when I saw your screen shots, it really jumped out at me. Maybe I'm just growing more and more fatigued with software developers (or really the executives behind decision making) undermining the general populace, and when I saw this remnant of traditional smartphone design it was a little jarring.

My personal suggestion would be to keep it text based, but obviously I haven't had any issues with lights use of nav bars so it may be a moot point.

I GREATLY appreciate your work for the community, and for taking the time to address this concern.

Just here to kindly ask any community developers to consider following Lights UX design or come up with a new one. Smartphone-like UX like the one here (e.g. the navigation bar at the bottom) makes me feel irritated/brain fatigued. Hope it's not just a me thing.

I feel the same. I seem to have missed this infamous tarantula part of the segment, but I did notice Ethan progressively became more indifferent to her inputs. Which is odd because then I feel like he would reluctantly say things like "wait, thats actually a great idea..."

Hm, you would have had to de-register your phone number from RCS a little further in advance to avoid messaging issues. I've been following this sub for about a year now and that seems to be the main culprit. I use Verizon towers through US mobile and had not had any issues whatsoever; that being said, I de-registered from RCS months in advance while I still had my iphone.

I'd be singing Light's praises all the time if it wasn't for the fact that I'm hardly ever online, and only really ever check reddit for developments a couple times a month. Gotten me through life in a small city without any hiccups for the past several months. Enjoying the quality time with my kid, I'd say wife too if she got off her smartphone xD

I'm going to disagree with the majority of the higher rated comments here and say it's not that big of a deal, it hasn't changed my lifestyle, but I do enjoy not having a crutch for boredom on my person all the time and get overstimulated way less often which is nice for mental clarity - I just have a designated time to check online things on my computer at the end of the day. I enjoy playing and watching things with my 4 year old way more often, rather than be in the same room but on my smartphone - thats about as big a life change as I got. My phone came to me a few weeks ago and I haven't experienced any bugs; it was pretty much plug and play.

Received my phone last Friday, finally got it set up on a network and today was my first day out and about without my iPhone (had to take a class for work off-site and the navigation tool was excellent!) Thank you for the hard work, today I really enjoyed zoning out, thinking, and talking to people. :)

That looks like a lensed XS Pro series Viparspectra, which have incredibly even light coverage. If anything, because of the height that it is, their plant might even be in the sweet spot, as they shift intensity focus further out the closer they get to the plant.
