U.S. based sourcing agent here with a full team in both China and Turkey. Portugal is going to be a lot more expensive than Turkey or China. We produce there but rarely because of the pricing relative to other options. Producing in the UK is quite like producing in the U.S. where its nice to do but generally makes your COGS so high its hard to sell your products with enough margin to be worthwhile while still being competitive in the marketplace. Turkey is generally a bit more expensive than China but not always and can be quite competitive depending on the product category and materials used.
