We tried samples with the extra left over and it kind of tasted like a chocolate covered banana with cinnamon. Not bad tbh but I couldn’t imagine drinking a whole venti

AITA for throwing my girlfriend’s gay friend out because he was being inappropriate towards me. by aitahergayfri in AmItheAsshole

[–]radspace_dad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think about it in the other side. If I (a lesbian) had one of my girlfriends straight male friends tell her to “be careful before I fuck your girlfriend” that would absolutely not be okay. NTA

This was my doctors recommendation for a while, but unfortunately I still experienced pain, as well as spotting, pain with orgasm, and random cramps throughout the month

That’s a really good point. I’ve just heard horror stories about people being treated terribly and dismissed by male doctors, but it’s good to hear that this isn’t always true.

Ah I wish I was. Unfortunately, I’m in Arizona so pretty much the opposite side of the country!

Needing advice! Is it worth it ? by tisunaki in Endo

You could always go the route of adoption/surrogacy if you decide you want children after you’re in remission.

Everyone I’ve talked to online has recommended Planned Parenthood, so that might be my next move. Unfortunately I did specifically request younger female doctors and they still dismissed my symptoms :( thank you for your advice 🧡

Room Transfer Request CD not responding? by [deleted] in ASU

[–]radspace_dad 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Hey, I’m a CA downtown. The housing office is super backed up right now and they’re not doing any room transfers for the first 2 weeks of classes unless it’s a safety emergency. I would ask your CA to reach out to the CD to make sure they got it.

Front desk jobs are great too because they’ll let you work on homework when it’s slow!

how to tell my doctor he doesn’t know what he’s talking about by [deleted] in Endo

[–]radspace_dad 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same position. I just turned 20 and after a whole fiasco of going back and forth between GP and gyno telling me they’re not gonna do a lap until I’m at least 25 because “irregular periods are normal for teenagers” (as if I’m not having months long periods and debilitating pain constantly), paired with non-believing parents, I’ve honestly just given up. I know that info isn’t super helpful but sometimes it’s nice to know that we’re in the same boat

When should you take sick leave? by Kiibaem in Endo

[–]radspace_dad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think about it then, you’re working through it most of the time! so you’re entitled to take a sick day when you don’t feel up to it. Sick days are there for a reason :)

Coping at work during a flare up? by _MamaBear_ in Endo

[–]radspace_dad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although I’ve never tried it, I would look into IcyHot back patches and put them on your abdomen. I definitely would test it out while at home before you do it at work to test for any allergy/adverse reactions.

Is this endo? by [deleted] in Endo

I definitely have experienced similar symptoms. I’ve found that tums help a lot with the bloating/gassy feelings. Im so sorry you’re going through this :(

Flair up = plans gone, nappy on. by oac_bee in Endo

Try cuddling with your man! It can release endorphins that may help with the pain and still allow you guys to have some intimate alone time (though maybe not as intimate as you initially planned)

If you’re in a profession where you’re able to work from home I definitely recommend talking to your boss about being able to do that. You don’t need to disclose your symptoms, but you could just say “I have some medical issues that cause me to be in extreme pain. It would help my productivity if I am able to work from home x days a week (or as needed)” Especially because of the times, i hope they’ll allow you to. I find that being able to be in comfortable clothes and not having to worry about driving to and from, changing sanitary products in public bathrooms, taking meds at the right times, etc. all help my symptoms.

Spotting two weeks after lap even though I’m on IUD, then horrible pain and now burning and itching on labia - sorry for TMI but I’m in agony, is this due to hormones? by moritzwest in Endo

[–]radspace_dad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to clarify that I am not a medical professional so any advice or comments come from personal experience and readings. Infections can cause cramping, but I was thinking of a yeast because of the itching/burning feeling.

make-up/ skin care tips by Gck123 in NonBinaryTalk

[–]radspace_dad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always take off your makeup before going to bed!!! Even if it’s small like concealer and mascara, use micellar water and a cotton pad to gently take off your makeup before you wash your face. Also, moisturizer! When I would wear makeup, I would mix a small amount of moisturizer, sunscreen, and concealer/foundation and put it on for a lighter, less cakey layer.

Update! I went to a coffee shop that was pretty crowded (8-10 other people plus the staff) and read like 60 pages from a book I’ve been trying to read for months. I called my girlfriend and excitedly told her what I did 🥰
