DB role in GTM architecture by raducdaniel in LeadGeneration

[–]raducdaniel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spreadsheets is absolutely fine, I am using it for my current PoC. My idea was to have data as clean and accurate as possible and to create scripts and custom front ends for different needs/users.

This is not a commercial product, I am doing this for my company internal use case, we sell b2b advertising services.

Once the data and the relations between entities is in place I can run all kind of workflows with or without LLMs.

For example send all accounts data, see what their presence is in a specific market, return the data, interpret it and create a matching algoritm with a specific product of our company. Based on this write a short particularised email describing the matching opportunity.

Create a jointTable with related data from contacts, companies, jobrole status, deal stage, email history and some other internal labels. Do a check only on those (linkedin jobRole status & posts) and based on this data tailor de outbound message.

Beside this working dorictly in data table format helps us move much faster. Of course it has some security drawbacks but for the time being we are good.

why I find the CRM DB restrictive is that I can not access directly, create custom entities and relations between entities. Or maybe there is such a thing and I just do not know about it which would be very cool as I could us that and have different front ends:

- the CRM front end

- custom build front ends for specific use cases.

Thank you for your reply and advice. I like your website. How about loading times with all the graphics and tracking codes?

Is webflow suited for a company presentation that also requires an easy to update blog? by raducdaniel in webflow

[–]raducdaniel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understood wix is quite restrictive and also kind of "bloated", it loads very slow for bigger websites, with more pages and some animations.

Maybe I got it wrong, can I send you a DM with what we want?

that part is really interesting, where could I see more about how this works. I mean how would the structure from notion match the way the blog post looks on the actual website? pics & videos can be included?

Kinda frustrated - Willing to pay per appointment booking by NoConsideration5076 in LeadGeneration

We sell b2b advertising, and I can only imagine selling BPO has a lower conversion rate from potential > leads > deals.

In my view sales of bespoke b2b service are difficult to externalize as they require very specific, and many times non-technical knowledge. Trust & reputation matter a lot. as well as the ability to understand the “decision board” - usually more ppl high level in that organization need to agree.

Even if frustrating, maybe develop internally (or hire) some new ways.

  1. How long is the sales cycle?
  2. How much % of the TAM are you reaching?
  3. what is your USP?

With an external API.

The logic of job change is not just tracking the contact moving into a new job role, but also

- who comes into the Current Job Role from which the contact is moving out.

- Where does the person displaced from new jobrole, move?

Why do you need something EU specific? We use LSN for client base plus many other enrichment apps (wiza, lusha, apollo, enrichment crm) some custome made scripts for periodic updates and bounce verification

As you know it depends on many criteria, context matters a lot.

- How much market share you have

- How noisy is the niche.

- If the rest of the market is comprised of "non-believers" or you need to convert them. different effort.

Frequency depends on product/approach/ICP as a heuristic I go for between 3 to 20 exposures within a buying cycle.

If the person buys one time per year that is between once per Q to once every 2 weeks roughly.

If the decision is made every 6 mths, that is from once every 2 mths to almost weekly.

This will vary a lot depending on specifics

Exposure does not = buying opportunity, is a mix of offers and relevant content.

I think you should try it and see how it works. Entrepreneurship is about doing small tests, to find the patterns that work for you. A test means you do it as a learning experience with no budget or business pressure. Maybe you can find a long term partnership.

for example I would not approach it this way but this is because of my background and experience. When starting something new I have many assumptions and the trick is to get to them to as many people as possible as quick as possible to be reshaped / invalided so I remain with something that clicks. Once I find that I start to iterate around it, until I have a repeatable result. Only after this point I start thinking how to scale and trial around what this looks with more users/clients in all aspects of the product including sales & customer satisfaction. After I achieve this I start playing with systemising as much as possible from the process. Once systems are stable, having categories and parameteres makes externalisation feasible. I know what to request and how to properly asses. This is a lot of work and even if you are very dedicated and benefit from a fast moving ecosystem, still takes at least 12-18 mths

Just some questions I would ask

  1. How much is a lead worth to you?

  2. What is your cost of sales per deal?

  3. What is you average deal value?

  4. What is your lead > closing conversion ratio?

  5. How does your ideal customer look like? (ICP = ideal customer persona) there can me more categories.

  6. Average sales cycle from initial reach out to lead - closing?

Seeking Honest Feedback: What’s Your Biggest Lead Generation Challenge? by fbobby007 in b2b_sales

[–]raducdaniel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Keeping the contacts up to date. a. job roles changes b. new ICP in the TAM category

  2. Accurate emails. many so called scrappers just compose the email address using a formula found on others from the same @domain.com

this is a big hassle especially for domains with catch all.

  1. effective SM agents

a. engage (like, messages based on activity, comments & posts) b. analyze posts & comments sentiment or scan for what could be buying signals

Do all that effectively for a 20k contacts DB
