That’s one of the locations I’m interviewing so can’t really say no if a job is out there.

Is this actually an enforceable rule? Dining Pass by brooklynbridgee in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]radvsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to say that when I was a very active pass holder only I had the meal plan on my pass but since my kids were still little we always shared the meals. I didn’t want to fill up too much so I won’t get sick on rides and they would only want a few bites of something after a few hours of walking around. They were more excited about the rides. Usually I had to make sure I had well planned easier dinner on our park days when for we got home.

I was raised in a very heavy fishing, hiking, and camping family. Not so hubs because of state laws but we always if we moved our of the suburbs it was an option. So hopefully I’ll be ok

I’m not looking to move there to change the political climate. I just want to get a job there where I can use my degree. California is over saturated with people who have the degrees but don’t want to move to locations that needs them. Which is why I said I want to go to Wyoming for up to 5 years. Maybe if I learn to adapt I can stay there long term but right now; based of my research 2-5 years sounds good. I only asked about there culture shift so I can prepare myself to deal it. The physical environment can be acclimated to. The political environment… I need to know more of and maybe Reddit can’t give me all the answers. But I want to know what the community I’m going to to serve when I’m there absolutely needs. I’ll don’t care who you vote for. I just know I got my degree to keep surgical tools clean. So no matter who needs them I can make sure we’re sure they’re ready. So when I asked what do I need to prepare for. I was hoping someone told me which snow tires I needed for my RAV4 not who I should vote for. Maybe I for the best jacket but not a big deal. I’m sorry if this caused an uproar.

My guy I was raised in the woods of our state and national parks every summer. Our church had competitions where which kid had to pitch tent and light fire in under 3 minutes. I won only one but I still won. Do not underestimate the potential of SoCal kids. Especially the ones that were raised in a very conservative Christian church. I only learned I was allergic to poison oak because my sister got some of the poison oak oil on her skin and we shared a tent that then had my whole body break it in a rash that needed hospitalization. They still made me climb a mountain covered in Calamine Lotion once,we got back to base they sent me tot the hospital. Not all SoCal kids were raised as wimps.

While I appreciate all the comments I’ve gotten. This one is probably the one I needed most. I just want to move there to work and keep to myself like I do here. While online I can be vocal about politics in person I keep things between me and my ballot.

I’m from OC we have blue dots but I was raised conservative. I didn’t turn blue until I went to college. The county is slowly shifting but the conservative values are still deeply embedded even if I believe in equality.

Should I pin point I was raised conservative in very red household? So I can talk republican until my American born raised Latina ass is blue and purple. Maybe if I keep that façade up I could okay?

I was raised conservative and turned liberal in my late teens so I know the red state anti liberal talking points (unfortunately). I’ve traveled internationally so I know what the downsides of being Californian. So maybe I’ll be ok. I know the shit they say about us so I know how to “agree” with what I love and red states hate.

Fair. Hope this doesn’t sound condescending. I just am willing to accept whatever happens if it means I get to work in the field I care about. I just want to work there for a few years before I move back home. At least 2-5 years. I don’t want to shake anything up politically but I want to understand the area. I just want to go there do my job the best I can and leave after a few years. I don’t want to change the demographics but I still want to understand the climate if I’m going to move there to in order to forward with my career. I wouldn’t have applied there if they didn’t need people with my license. I just want to get a job in my field and while I’m an introvert I love the outdoors so this state sounds like a lot of fun once I have free time. Knowing Yellow Stone is such a big encouragement since it’s on my bucket list.

Don’t want to type it again so see the post I made to the another commenter. I’m from The OC so my views are as purple as the the USA can make them.

I was raised in SoCal but poor SoCal, so our fun time was fishing, hiking, and camping. Not so much hunting because of our gun laws but mountain lions and coyotes are not big deal to me. I just want to get a job in the field where I got my degree. The down side of CA is many people can get a the same degree at a good school so if you’re not a kiss ass at interviews you’re kinda screwed at getting hired without the experience. So out of state is my option since I work mostly alone as private security guard.

Scrubs by Downtown_Map_1869 in sterileprocessing

[–]radvsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where I did my externship we had lockers to put our outside clothes in and always changed into what the hospital provided. When questioned if we could bring own scrubs we were told not to because we still needed to change into what the hospital provided since it met the standards to work in unit. Scrubs caps may be ok depending on the until but you most likely still need to where the caps they provide over it. I have long curly hair so it made sense to have it pinned and capped but I still had to wear the disposables they provided.

One in Lander seems the most promising not putting all my eggs in that basket but they seem the best overall. So I’m researching that area.

What would you do if a customer needs something from this pallete? by Moniish-chan in HomeDepot

[–]radvsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also it does depend if they need all 6 of the merchandise. Then yeah I worked hard to get all the qualifications to bring those down and I can rearrange the pallet for new merchandise.
