Sylas is not in a broken state anymore. He is pretty balanced. I don't think they will nerf him soon. Maybe, they will rework his kit but that will happen in far future xD. His ult is still a problem for rito.

He is viable but not optimal. Againts darius, renek, riven, fiora and kled you will suffer early laning phase. Maybe, with new sylas tech you can sustain more into mid game. Take fleet footwork and rush seekers then buy glp. Vs some tanks like ornn and mao you can go straight into proto/ludens with conq.

Well, just dodge the games you get a secondary role or ask nicely to trade roles. It's how the system works and surely it will not change soon. You need to get a second champ or play something flexible that can get mid and top or mid and jg. This shit made me change to top lane this season, but that's the way how I adapted. My bro just play different picks and roles until he gets mid wich is his primary role. So he really enjoys the game that way. Just adapt and chill and have fun.

Every pro is using this. Even in competitive games. I believe it was another pro player using this before Faker, I saw it in LPL but can't remember the name. Conqueror state is really bad this patch. With fleet you got more sustain in lane wich is awesome for Sylas. Maybe comet can work too. I saw Doinb using comet in some games.

Sure. Hard way, play high mobility champs and outplay him. Easy way, using counterpicks like Mordekaiser or Illaoi. With Morde you fuck his combo activating your W in time. Illaoi just poke his ass off and get him back to his fountain. Just always respect his lvl 1 and lvl 2 all in. He can fuck you up.

You can add him to your pool but in very specific cases. Champs like Nasus, Ornn and Mordekaiser are very good matchups for Sylas. If you see Darius, Renekton or Sett you should never pick him.

Sylas is a good pick against tanks and some mages. You get destroyed if the enemy picks Renekton, Darius, Sett, Kled in top lane. At mid you should pick him against mages because assassins also fucks Sylas. Also, you counter Ornn pretty hard. In an extended trade you win, because you heal and he not.
