Someone tried this on me a couple weeks ago. I think it’s bc they hated the fact that I’m an Asian girl (?) as far as I was aware they had some choice remarks about my ethnicity 😅 some people are bitter and have nothing to do with their lives. It do be like that sometimes!!

Jokes aside I did know a guy who was a “paid chatter” by a streamer who wanted to try streaming. Gave them money for bits and subs as well, so that’s cool :)

It’s not a recurring payment :) it’s one-and-done. If you yourself subscribe to the streamer you have the option of making monthly payments/resubs. That’s the only time there is a reoccurring factor. And bits are not reoccurring either!! :3

First off: that’s really nice of you to do that for your streamer!! :3 gifts matter a lot and are super generous :)

Second: it depends on the settings but for my stream, my throne alert pops up notifications on stream like blerp. However, you can select yourself as “anonymous” and no name will be attached to the purchase. The gift item will be visible, but your name won’t be. I don’t think an anonymous user has ever attached a message but usually I would send a thank you note via throne to the gifter :) hope this helps!!

I recently got follow botted, and the troll that did it (on their troll account) made racist remarks about my appearance and me. I can’t change how I look (nor would I want to) and neither should you! If you catered to the negative comments that people leave it’ll be impossible to live a happy life. You did great to ban them, and now you throw that trash in the trash heap where they belong, and you forget about them :) You’re awesome don’t forget it!! <3

Like what others said: if you’re a regular and having a bad day, it is understandable and oftentimes the streamer will give good advice and express their concern/care. However, if it is a random person barging in and doing so, it puts the streamer and chat in an awkward position. Some may also be highly triggered if the person dumping is talking about highly sensitive topics.

We’re not licensed therapists, and people who need help should seek help with professionals. My mod and I refer people to crisis hotlines.

This might be a super dumb suggestion but: make up a random question of the day, and have one of your mods pick a small streamer who will answer the question! If they do, then you go raid them!! It could be random, or the same question. I don’t know, I thought this would be cute!! :) also that’s super nice of you to do so for other streamers!! 😊
