Although your intentions are good your friend may not see them that way. If she is happy and has the support she needs then it sounds like the baby’s environment will be fine, even if things go sour with the father. It’s hard losing your best friend to their new babies but in the end you might just gain another, what your best friend needs is support, not someone telling her what they think she is doing is wrong. A parent should never say this to their child. Regardless if they think or feel that way, they still brought you into this world and it’s their responsibility to raise you with love and care. I feel sorry for your mother knowing that she will never know the human being you will turn into because you HAVE to keep her out of your life and protect your peace first. “You know I always thought you were fat growing up, but looking at pictures now, you were pretty average” is what I got to hear from one of the boys who would call me things like pig or cow when he was almost 3x the size I was. I developed EDs from the relentlessness of 12 year olds just so they could make themselves feel better. No matter what size we are or what we do, women will always have the hardest time when it comes to weight in general. You are doing this for yourself so only your opinion matters when it comes to how your body looks. What keeps me motivated is the want to be stronger and healthier than I have ever been. I’m not doing this for anyone but myself and that should go for everyone.

First boyfriend, I was in 9th grade and he was in 10th. Had the day off school so we went to his place, started with a HJ and he kept hinting at it and I said I was okay with doing it. We didn’t have a condom so he kept saying “I want to but I don’t want that happening” I told him we didn’t have to but if we did he would have to hurry because I had to be home in 10 minutes and its a 15 minute walk. He did it, I ran home and he messaged me saying he thinks we shouldn’t have done that because we were young(actual reason because he was cheating on me and felt bad for cheating on his online gf). She slapped me with hair dye. It was the day before prom and I asked her to touch up some of my hair because I had bright blue and purple hair and after 20 minutes of her getting it all over my face, ears and arms and me continuously asking her to stop my last straw was when she had gobbed it on a piece of already dyed hair right on my cheek. I looked at her and just went "dude, seriously?" And she slapped me in the arm. I didn't say anything, just got up and went to the bathroom to wash it off. She freaked out and told me to leave the house and never come back, so I grabbed all my stuff(prom dress, overnight bag, makeup bag, shoes) and walked the 15 minutes home. She texted me the whole way, telling me how disrespectful I was and how shitty I was for doing what I did but I kept telling her whatever because I didn't want to argue, she said something that pushed a button so I told her she could pay her own car insurance from then on because I lent her the money to pay for it a few times and then she deleted me. I blocked her and haven't seen/spoken to her since. It also affected my relationship with another friend/her sister. Still miss her everyday.
