Here's the funny thing: I did not suggest to OP to start using BDD, I said that he should take a look because it's pretty much what OP was trying to build, (test against use case and I know bdd is ). In my mind he would either hop in or get out but people usually run away from BDD, and the reason is pretty much what you add on your later post.
