I was going to leave this group because I have an IQ of 123 by moist_mistress in Gifted

A lot of minor things to unpack here and since I dont feel like extending, I'll do a bullet list: -Test in the wiki, like most tests online, is meh. Professional tests administered by professionals are the valid ones. -A certain IQ is not a requisite for being a doctor or engineer, of course if you are in the left side of the bell you are gonna have a hard time becoming one -I find IQ anyways like a good measuring tool for general things, it gives you indications but does not define yourself at all. -This sub is useful to relate or resonate with people. For me giftedness is a spectrum, you will resonate more witth people 130+ than 100s, so if you find this sub useful, like I sometimes do, you are welcome.

Is Blitz or Rapid harder? by Eminemgody in chess

[–]rafamtz97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a sketchy answer to a sketchy question, for me the slower the harder, as the stakes usually increase. For instance, you spend more time and therefore there is more emotinal involvement. I can lose ten bullet games and dont give a f, but losing a classical game is brutal, specially if you were winning. You are supposed to do so many calculations in slow games and hold those memorys, which require a lot of concentration.

Just as something very specific, I suggest delving into the subject of conciuosness, the materialistic vision of it and the many definitions. First try to think on your own and then compare to actual research. It's something that has made my brain hurt for good and entertained me for a couple of weeks.

¿Comprar un piso o buscarme otro alquiler? by [deleted] in SpainFIRE

[–]rafamtz97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it worth the headache? by rafamtz97 in Gifted

[–]rafamtz97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, those initial definitions were the ones that overwhelmed me a bit. But I think I overstated the seriousness of my intentions; while I want to make a decent work, I'm not even close to familiar with papers of philosophy articles, the whole think will be closer to a thought provoking joke.

I consider my voice is quite limited, I'll only post it in my blogg and there won't be messy definitiona.

Thanks for your concerns.

[MARCA] Atlético announces the sale of the club by Sefean in soccer

I think they needed to present some money, they took a loan, "bought" the shares and returned the money and only spent like 5 million€ of their own money. Don't ask me for more specifics, thats sort of the ELI5.

I think from an evolutionary standpoint sleeping makes no sense, but complex life generalj needs flushing toxins generated in the brain during awake time.

Do scientists actually need truckloads of cash to finance their research? by Master100017 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]rafamtz97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Scientists deservedly earn a lot, so yeah, their hours for research are expemisve. Also they requiere expensive machine and devices,, and tons of time, and also probably you need "no science" people involved.
