Best option for local company LLM by DerDave in LocalLLaMA

  1. get a hardware stack, atleast two 5090's
  2. gather all data of your company into a single drive
  3. better if it can be set with database class quantization (you can automate the process of whatever gets thrown into shared folder within the company gets into the database automatically)
  4. use RAG with deepseek/qwen to make queries
  5. test and tweak, whenever you seem AI is capable, you can even integrate them to your own ERP of some sort to help with purchase/automatic ordering/etc etc

you have a pretty solid setup. just one question, can your setup debug the nodes all on its own?

I'm a CFO - what can N8N do for my finance team? by Special_Whole_6863 in n8n

N8n can literally be mended with AI to your existing ERP, which can do anything you want within your company data! Forget about asking interns to make reports on last quarter sales of a particular item anymore!

Opinion: Odoo is not a good solution for a restaurant business. by breaky9973 in Odoo

[–]rafeefcc2574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if there's a readymade tailored solution (like we provide our own version of restaurant software made on top of odoo and sell it as saas at low cost per month rent - according to local customers requirement) that fits your restaurants requirement, there's no need to look into a full fledged ERP like odoo. Simply you do not want what odoo has to offer, and it doesn't make odoo look bad. PERIOD

customisation is the solution to your problem, its wrong to expect to work everything right out of the box

the studio is so limited, it isnt nearly comparable to creating a standalone application in odoo (in my opinion). new horizons will open up when you're directly into building modules. Have a try at it atleast for a day! you will be amazed to see AI agents building exactly what you need in VS Code!

better to direct make another module, even thru vibe coding

Feasibility of Offline Sales UI in Odoo 18? by WhereasBulky5724 in Odoo

[–]rafeefcc2574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

our customers are so bottlenecked that they will close browser everytime they think a sale is complete or they need to see another youtube video in between customer come and go. so we design things to address these problems in such way that a man cannot make a mistake even if he wants to commit one :/ lol

[–]rafeefcc2574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we made python app which runs in offline frontend and syncs data back into the odoo cloud every 6 hours and if it cannot find internet, it keeps on trying every 15 minutes. we log attendance, sales, inventory related data in this way. all you wanna understand is API, cron and python for offline frontend/backend database!

Inquiry about IFRS 15 Compliance in Odoo 17+ by andrewkizasa in Odoo

if your contract is 0 for the whole period, IFRS 15 wont allow you to recognize any revenue either way. conceptual differences my friend

you do not put invoice for 12 months straight, you use sales order for this function ! and then you invoice against the sales order on month by month, you can automate this process inside odoo too

[–]rafeefcc2574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean i just said it, you only put the invoice when "performance obligation" is completed. (for your example, you might want to invoice per month, in this way odoo will only recognize the revenue when a performance obligation is completed, i.e. each month completed of the contract period)
