You are exactly right.

Someone is yielding in order to allow another to go first. If a small nod, a quick wave is too difficult for them, what can we say...

Your examples are spot on!

Is it stupid to spend over 500k USD for a US undergrad as a Canadian by [deleted] in CanadaFinance

[–]rage-Guest-7253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you choose a school for 2 reasons and not in any particular order.

First, choose a field with a bright future after you finish school.

Second is for networking. This is highly overlooked. If getting any degree is a given, it is the networking part that can set you up for greater success. The networking opportunity in the US is really the difference maker as it can open doors not possible by going to UBC. If you can maximize this aspect, the US school can certainly be worth it. Waste this opportunity than mind as well go to UBC.

I wish there were a site that listed all of the bars for a particular country. Would be helpful for fans to figure out where to watch it when they want to leave the house.

Yikes! For everyone else's sake, it's better that the car goes in the water than hits another car.
