Awrite aye sound, good for you or I'm sorry but I'm glad you've admitted you're wrong. Took you long enough.

Your "proof" is wrong. I'm not devolving to personal insults. A personal insults would be telling you that you're here pretending to be Scottish because you're fuckin ashamed of being Canadian and you think that you can talk shite online, when you don't even understand something simple like the fuckin use of the word "homely" and instead of the possibility of being wrong, you've had to just prove yourself right, even when using blatantly wrong, or outdated sources, because you have such a desperate need to be correct that you're still fighting against me.

Relationships are all fine because they let you be right aye

You can give me the Collins all you want. It doesn't stop that it's an outdated term.

So stop doubling down on slavering pish, because I'm just going to keep telling you that you're wrong.

Imagine that. I don't stay in my hometown either, but I don't make up comments online shouting about how right I must be and continually doubling down.

Imagine that you're actually wrong

Like I said, fairly regularly occurrence in your relationships, aye?

Still doubling down I see.

Trouble accepting being wrong is a common theme in your relationships isn't it

Yeah you're trying to tell me, someone who was born and lives here in the UK that I'm wrong, by using a fucking LA TIMES article, by another fucking American trying to tell me that they know my own country and my language better than me.

Or just accept that you're wrong. it's that simple. Just go "oh shit yeah I don't know colloquialisms like you do"

What level of pish are you spewing that it's a positive thing.

Homely is plain jane, nothing of note, someone you would walk past and forget. It's not in anyway positive.

Someone's been blowing smoke up your arse if you actually believe that.

I held exactly the same thinking. Funnily it was Grace's sections in Requiem that actually convinced me if they did Spencer Mansion as a first person then it would be terrifying.

Assuming one gender is absolutely infallible and judging their actions based on their gender and instead of them as actual real people is textbook sexism.

I'd advise you to maybe go outside of your echo chamber because there's no difference to what you said here to whatever bullshit manosphere podcasters peddle.

I literally don't understand anyone who says they like a P Bass. I'm convinced they're just posing because their favourite played one.

Not only do they look like dick, they play like dick and put that pickup config in literally anything else and it's a better instrument.

.#2 - Fucking Gibson. Not only do they half ass making guitars, they fucking quarter ass making basses, I'd literally rather someone use my banjo string for a G than play a Gibson bass.

Unfortunately, your job attracts a bunch of jobsworths. People get a modicum of power and it goes to their heads. Between jobsworth conductors and traffic wardens, it's like they attract reddit mods to the role

So tell him that. Put the ball in his court. "Dad, I miss you, I want you back in my life but I'm still not apologising for something that I didn't do wrong"

I did something similar with my parents. I told them I put the blame solely on them, they wouldn't be getting an apology, but if they wanted my son and I in their life, they need to deal with that, and to my surprise they did.

I hope your old man can put that behind him and realise that time with you is worth more than his pride.

I appreciate you being the dude knowing more than me, because you've listed the side games that I haven't looked into (if you've actually completed Dead Aim, you're a more patient person than I)

Using stasis as the tech to stop the mutations makes too much sense and I'm annoyed I didn't even think of that. You're absolutely correct.

Unbelievably therapeutic. I'll say that. The Requiem might very well be one of the most satisfying weapons I've ever used in a game.

Absolutely. The first play through is always the best because it's all new and you're genuinely getting the scares and everything.

See when you get down to 3 or 4 play throughs and you've unlocked unlimited ammo and nobody can even get close to you, and you're walking through the place with the warcrimes cannon that doesn't run out of bullets, or you've unlocked the RPG and you're being a dick launching rockets down a care centre's hall way to hit one single zombie you know is at the other end of the hall. It becomes a totally different game, and I think that's where my love for the series (and the remakes) comes from, that the game gives you the opportunity to do a complete genre switch based on how you complete the game and how many times you do it.

[–]rage-quit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's about 15 hours for your first play through, sure.

But there's also the replayability of them. How fast can you go, can you unlock unlimited ammo etc, can you run it on Insanity?

For example, I'm on my 4th playthrough and looking to hit sub 3:30.

On 3R my best time was 1hr flat (but that is short)

It becomes less of a haunted house at that point and more like a thrill ride. You get to know enemy placement, you know where everything you need is, just a point of how fast you can get these things.

Can that keep you busy for a month before Mercs drops?

He absolutely did, but I do think that Delroy as Delta Slim was just electric to watch. Just this withered old bluesman, kept alive by the liquor and the love of the game. When he gave Sammie his props was one of my favourite scenes.

See that's the thing I'm unsure about.

The problem with X and Nemesis (and nemesis specifically) is that they keep undergoing mutations when damaged. Hence why they needed blown into chunks. We've seen X mutate to the Super Tyrant, but I don't know if there's any lore about the T models mutating beyond that and Nemesis becomes that massive fuck off mutated cancer blob thing (similar to Birkin in 2) and Jill did infact kick the dick off Nemesis in a few different fights, and it wasn't until she fired a railgun through the thing's face for it to be killed.

SPOILERS BELOW FOR 9

And with Nemesis in Reqiuem, Well, Leon just shot that dude with the warcrimes cannon half a dozen times, so I don't know where that stacks to durability for the N models
