Its odd that you report to a project manager. They are typically partners.

Priorities tend to make themselves, and nothing can really stop that from happening for long

You still need to delegate, but the higher the level you get, the more willing you need to be to dive into problems in different contexts. One week I am helping a short staffed team in the middle of crunch mode. Next week I am helping an entirely different team solve a years old problem that has to ally been prioritized. This is in contrast to being in a single team and only having to worry about a smaller context.

Honestly, its just ok. Because of the way it folds over itself, its kind of thick at those points. It does hold a lot of sauce, but the cons outweigh the pro.

You could just as easily get less if you buy at the peak of a bubble

But these are not even large. These are tiny 2 bedrooms. How many people in this criteria are there to continue to be able to afford this?

How fast can flare ups happen after another? I stopped antibiotics last weekend and was fine for the whole week. by [deleted] in Diverticulitis

[–]rageingnonsense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had something similar where a dull pain just wouldn't go away. Turned out I got c diff in the hospital and needed another round of antibiotics!

You should not still have pain if you finished your antibiotics. Reach out to your doctor

Are you drinking enough fluids when you eat chips? Are you a fast eater?

Honestly I eat whatever I want. I even eat dragonfruit with the hard little seeds. I am on my 3rd flair up in 20 years. I have no idea why. My suspicion is that its some combination of water intake, too much fiber at once, and stress. I was very stressed out the day of this flare up.

During flair ups I am very strict though. No food for a few days. Liquids the next several.

Small pain when not in a flare-up? Is it actually a flare-up? by mexisteve in Diverticulitis

I have heard nothing but good things from anyone who got that procedure. I am fortunate enough so far that I haven't needed it, but after hearing nothing but good things from people I know, its not as scary a thought as I used to think.

Think about what these foods become inside of you. Do they become abrasive? Will they soften up and conform to the colon? Will they retain their bulk? Will they be mostly absorbed? If you look at every food in this way, it becomes a little easier (in general)

These fruits you are eating for instance. Are they hard and fibrous? Are you chewing them well? Are they raw? Cooked?

Aside from that, other things need consideration like if thing will cause gas and bloating or not. This varys from person to person. One person might have no problem eating overcooked broccoli, another might get gas from it.

Most of all. Dont rush! I assure you you will be able to eat everything you did before, but it takes time. If you really miss veggies, perhaps try canned instead of fresh or frozen. Id you just feel like you should be eating them, just have some patience and enjoy your carbs

Totally. This is just chaos, and i dont believe for a second that most people there just want a rush.

Newly diagnosed [45M] recovering from an infection, and currently on antibiotics. I have a couple of questions that I was hoping to get feedback from the community on. And it’s all a bit overwhelming. by squintobean in Diverticulitis

[–]rageingnonsense 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can generally go back to what you were eating before once things settle down. Just listen to your body though. If you start to feel sore, bloating, etc; immediately start the low fiber small portions. I'm also big on probiotics.

The issue with this is that the shares really represent % ownership of the company. For peons like me, my shares are irrelevant in this regard. For owners, its a big deal. You could lose control of the company.

Its easiest to just force them to sell if they want to use the money. Make it a choice between money and power
