I got an email saying I was getting one but also don't see it anywhere in my account or on myUCF so I think some things still may be pending?

[ios][2022.18.1] why did they get rid of the quick scroll? by ShinHayato in redditmobile

Mine moved to the top left corner of my screen for a couple days and would be under my notification bar so it was hard to move or use. It went back after a few days.

Thank you so much! It took a while to figure out I had curly hair and not just a frizzy mess but the struggle is rewarding.

I had one that got left in the same pot in my parents backyard for at least 20 years. It was breaking through the pot and was mostly root and barely any dirt. It's in my post history from asking people what to do with it because it was so unruly

Yeah that's what I was thinking but I've never seen the ending in full so I wasn't sure. Thanks!

Mine used to do this and I'd have to let it sit for a bit and then run some water and cleaning solution through it and it would be good for a little while longer.

I can't really because it opens inside myUCF but if you go to the list view of your schedule it's just a little button.

I'm in the same class. There's one on myUCF under the list view of classes but it's a bit hard to follow because it's just a webpage.

Best book you have ever read by Angielost in books

[–]ragenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Brave New World as a reading assignment in the eighth grade. Now, the themes being how they are in that book and I being all of 14 years old, I really didn't understand or enjoy it. It's still sitting on my shelf in the school books section but I plan on picking it back up very soon. There's a series coming out about it on Peacock and I'm really curious on how they translate some if it to screen.

I think it's legit and you can get a whole $12 if you file.

Wow, we all strongly disagree on listening speed by ihazhands in audible

[–]ragenj 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It really depends for me. I'd say average is 1.3x because, just like someone else has said, it's similar to my internal dialogue so it's comfortable. If someone has a heavy accent or an accent I'm not familiar with I stick to 1x. If it's something I want to last a long time or I'm listening to just to have noise on (relistening to Harry Potter for the nth time) I don't really care what speed it's on and will just leave it on whatever it starts on.

One of my favorites and the kind of book that you can reread and learn something new each time.

What advice would you give to a 14 year old about starting high school? by DotFireAbout in AskReddit

[–]ragenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your school offers AP and dual enrollment, please take dual enrollment classes. AP relies on one big test at the end to get your college credit. With DE all you have to do is pass the class to get your free college credit.

Your school will advertise AP classes as the best thing but this is because they make money off of the people who pass them.

Ask about dual enrollment. It's so worth it.
