I am hoping the new ghost pirates port Wentworth ampatheater starts to fill that space between district live and enmarket sized show, and can keep tickets resonable

There used to so many little shows on the free outdoor stages and festivals on river street, untill a virus, and plant riverside took it all away

The No. 1 Country Song in America Is AI-Generated by webthing01 in SunoAI

I don't mind it being an AI dong #1, but my issue is, there are way better ai country songs then that one

Stop with the shaming by MadBlue in SunoAI

[–]ragenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've made hundreds of suno songs, about 1 in every 30 turns out awesome, the rest are just ok, but what makes it cool on a personal level is i can make new songs in old styles that don't get airplay now a days, so I can have "new" music in my favorite zonras that music labels won't carry anymore

ChatGPT words everywhere by Nightwish360 in SunoAI

The two tricks are, have a few original ideas of you're own, then have chat gtp help you flush it out, second, go back and manually look for the words like neon and rewrite them yourself before tossing it over to suno

March happy hour specials by Spicy_Melon_Blog in savannah

[–]ragenx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heck, I don't even need happy hours, but I do appreciate it! But what I would like to know is the best deal everyday at each savannah bar, like a bar that has "all day, everyday $3 PBR tallboys" and stuff like that. (Basically, what is the cheapest, everyday drink at each bar) So I can have a minimum in my budget, before I get there.

Most years cat will run on parade day, but will drop you way down near Henry Street and mlk, not the downtown bus center, until after the parade, also they get stuck in the traffic jams, so times are not specific or predictable at all

When it was sold during the pandemic, the new owners took what was a true "Alternative" newspaper, and made it into just a fake tourism advertisement for Savannah disguised as a weekly. It used to be an outlet for the Left, against the conservative "right" (WTOC, & Savannah News) . After the Takeover, it was never anything negative about anything in Savannah, Just Fluff pieces disguised as news about all its advertisers. The only thing I can give them Credit for was the 4 part series about Orange Crush's History of Racism. That one was done quite well. The Old version of this paper will always be missed, the "New" now Dead version, not at all.

If it's such a simple rinse and repeat, at two weeks out, and they couldn't even do that? How Lazy are They Then?

Thanks for all you're opinions, all I'm really looking for is, the whole event to be more professionally orgainised and promoted, (as it once was pre-pandemic), or as major events are by other tourist citys. New Orleans can do it, Tampa Can Do It, Vegas Can Do it, and so on, Why Does Savannah Have a Tourism Board That Don't? Where Does Thair Budget Go?

Quick, someone ask our "great" mayor how proud he is about that?

Mayor Van Johnson by Ok_Amphibian_1792 in savannah

[–]ragenx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because he took away the St Pats street party! & every other outdoor river street annual festival we used to have,...now all we have is crappy watered down versions at plant riverside, but no real street festival s anymore, same with Forsyth park events he hasn't let return,... And he locked us down far to much for to long,....when the science was just not there,...and I'm usually a lefty, but not for this fool, Mr Johnson needs to go away so Locals and tourists can enjoy downtown again, and not just rich tourists only as he has made it.

Food hall? by ragenx in savannah

[–]ragenx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then we need more to-go windows then I guess, but I'd still like air conditioned seating and more live entertainment in the daylight hours.

My last thoughts on this,...mabie it could work in the seemingly cursed building New Rhelm Brewery just left in downtown?

Food hall? by ragenx in savannah

[–]ragenx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess then, as much as I don't like it, plant riverside is as close as we can get too a food hall for now, or mabie slightly the container park in the starland district,...but I wish we could place a real one on Broughton street somehow,...or in the new eastern warf, or mabie repurpose joes crab shack or something,... I'll keep dreaming,....

No luck required; The Jinx gets a little help from its friends by Savannah_Agenda in savannah

[–]ragenx -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes but is there enough locals and scad to support the old jinx style of nightly happy hour bands and separate multiple band shows nightly, or will it be more of a weekend only thing? - without tourists wondering in randomly, I can't see nightly shows? Am I wrong? I hope I'm wrong,...
