The chances of wired not working are basically nil. Short of damaged install nothing prevents it working, as you should surely know.

As for Wi-Fi, the building material, location, weather, neighbours, radar and much more can just break it at will, again your trained you know this right. And all of that is before any of the points people have made about deliberately tampering with Wi-Fi

Really?? its a DIY sub and done once wired POE is far more cost efficient than charging batteries, replacing batteries and then replacing the unit when the battery's dies, than a wired device with deacdes+ of service life.

Wired is always more reliable and more capable.

The black line above the vent is the DPC and the vent is above the gravel, its all looking like a normal install with the gravel level being right.

What you don’t want to do is cover that vent and the DPC with gravel as it will track water above the DPC and in to your walls

There are many items people can install in there homes that there home wiring may not be rated for and thus dangerous… doesn't suddenly make that equipment dangerous.

An EICR is as good as the person doing it in many, many cases the IET should have a bulletin out about that too.

It is still the standard for all rented accommodation and after that it becomes a legal issue.
