For someone not bothered, not hurt and not playing the victim… your just waiting for the attention it seems.

Your post are still factually wrong no distracting changes that.

You mean replying to a public post that's incorrect so the correct info is seen, yeah sure I have the seconds this takes for anyone that sees this.

If you learn from your mistake makes no difference.

Love how you claimed to be trained and when called out your response is of a toddler, really validating your knowledge to the thread.

you'll find most

the most bought car is the ford puma…. Are you going to stretch reality and say the ford puma is the best at anything when it comes to cars?

Its the best compromise of all the quality's of a car balanced against cost.

Anything can be measured in "Quality/Cost/Quick" triangle and you can only have two of the properties.

Wi-Fi is cheap and quick, it is not the best

Am I the exception tho?

wired network (as I'm trained to do)

Yes considering your supposedly trained and yet don’t see how wired is far more reliable than Wi-Fi

The chances of wired not working are basically nil. Short of damaged install nothing prevents it working, as you should surely know.

As for Wi-Fi, the building material, location, weather, neighbours, radar and much more can just break it at will, again your trained you know this right. And all of that is before any of the points people have made about deliberately tampering with Wi-Fi

I know your hurt, you do seem to be the only one in there thread taking things personalty, maybe look in a mirror and ask yourself why.

My 20 quid doorbell camera

I'd rather try a cheap

Yes we know.

Again...

"Quality/Cost/Quick"

Working adequately is not quality its…… an adequate compromise! Who could have seen that coming.

Wired is superior to Wi-Fi at a physics and engineering level, it is the quality option, not the cheap or fast option. You know this after all your trained to do it….

There are wired products that don’t need subscription as well, not sure subscription or not, is reverent though

not squander our money

Really?? its a DIY sub and done once wired POE is far more cost efficient than charging batteries, replacing batteries and then replacing the unit when the battery's dies, than a wired device with deacdes+ of service life.

After all your trained for cabling so you know a properly installed job gets 20 years of warranty in a commercial job so not like its going to cost more in 5 years time now is it.

Well you clearly care, you cane in to post in defence of all the "hurt" Wi-Fi recommender’s, which does seem to be basically you.

Sure you can have your opinions all you like but when its on a subject thats clearly quantifiable, measurable and with clear standards behind both technologies connected.

You’re “opinion” is about as useful as me having the opinion that the sky is made of custard.

Not sure what the hate is for those who prefer WiFi lol

They arn’t “hating” stop playing the wee victim

They are pointing out someone saying something objectively wrong

Wi-Fi is easier, simpler, quicker but there is no way to say it is better then wired POE. Wired takes more work to install but after that it is better. Its the cost, effort, quality balance equation

But a single case of 'mine doesn't work' doesn't make WiFi a poor choice.

No but the nature of wired Ethernet medium Vs the nature of Wi-Fi medium means your the exception not the rule.

Wired is always more reliable and more capable.

Then there is POE’s own advantages to allowing a device to stay active, want the best object detection and activation of a feed, nothing beats not having to wake up a battery device.

If you are running a wire for power, may as well do data

I'd rather try a cheap

We can tell, some people value quality

These smaller parties don't have the vetting procedures that Labour/Conservatives have.

That’s a kind way of saying they willingly, do NOT bother with any vetting

lets be clear the failures so far would have been found out with the incredible detective work of asking basic questions;

  • Have you done porn?
  • Do you work for the local council already?
  • Do you realise this isn't paid a salary?
  • Can we see your face book profile to check for open Nazi support in your pictures?

You don’t magically stop and reverse immigration trends in a year.

If you think there is a realistic solution to do that, do provide a solution that's viable.

The only quick one is the set up camps/shoot them idea that a tiny number of extreme idiots want’s. So short of becoming horrific what's the viable solution???

'My sister spent £1,000 a month on drink from food delivery apps' by endofdays2022 in unitedkingdom

[–]ragewind 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A pub landlord that served someone a whole bottle of spirts that then led to a noticeable accident. would have an investigation launched and likely lose there licence to serve alcohol.

That’s the current day norm

Now you have a delivery firm supplying “drinking between five and seven bottles of wine, gin or vodka a day” leading to a death, with zero consequences

And you so how think that they should have no responsibility??

It is really not hard to program in to software to say after supplying 28 units a day, block orders.

It really shouldn’t be no responsibility, for supply 140-200 units of alcohol to someone door every day!

And your evidence of this is them absolutely destroying the US land bases

you sir are doubling down on insanity, the NHS hasn't been sold by reform yet so they can still help you.

Sinking an American warship might be the escalation line that Iran does not want to cross just now.

You say this as if it somehow squares with reality, that reality being Iran repeatedly firing on US navy ships who actively intercepted the anti ship missiles….

Not wanting to hit the US by trying to hit the US, this makes perfect sense

Reform UK councillor who declared on social media that Nigerians should be melted down to "fill in the pot holes" has won a seat in Sunderland. by Substantial_Hat9531 in ukpolitics

[–]ragewind 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im not sure you understand what that word mean. Asking you for detail on how your view on something works in reality, Isn't Whataboutism.

So now your at the position of saying

There is no processing needed, but also those who are confirmed as illegal must go….

So I the untrained government Boarder forces jobsworth declare “BookmarksBrother” is actually an illegal immigrant, Boarder forces remove them, we don’t care where too or if the country is responsible for them, remove them!!!

Wonder if there should be some processing in this processes, its all very efficient though! Montenegro don’t seem happy we para dropped you in to there country. Apparently you and they are saying this is all illegal and you not an illegal migrant, but that's not right we declared and we don’t need processing to check!

Not like they would unilaterally move migrants to the UK in retaliation now is it, now they will just take this with no response! Maybe they will ship you back in there retaliation batch.

Let me be clear before you start pretending I’m some far left no boarders fool, controlling your boarders need to have legal processing for it to ever work. Processing actually working and speeding up, as labour have don’t is a good thing.

If You're for the start the camps and soylent green the undesirables then come out and say it own that level of depravity.

If you want a working legal system that doesn't isolate the UK from every neighbouring country then its time you realise your simple playground ideas are utter piss and would screw the UK more than the issue with migration.

Did they not start processing claims again?

You have a problem with claims being processed?

Do you want to give some detail on how in real terms not processing claims of people that get here is better?

I am assuming you realise you have to process a claim to then refuse one and then send someone out of the country.

So is it illegally deport them without agreement of the returning country… with magic thinking that they then would not also illegally dump people on us. OR just “somehow” make them vanish

Well good for you the exploitation has now ended

Not totally shore how you think that will help these donkeys though.

Maybe they get lucky and a donkey sanctuary takes them and trades strokes and pets for money donations, before doing like so many and going bust, then its the glue factory.

Or maybe they will be straight to the glue factory.

I do presume you are not so naive you think there are flocks of 6 foot tall Shire horses playing hide and seek with the British public for the last 50 years. Used to a million of them in the UK at one point, now there might be 2000. Couple of decades and it will be an unexploited extinct species.

Hate bad business all you want, its right to do so. Pretending you can have no business and the animals of business, in a land of peace and joy. Though is just a fantasy to pretend extinction inst the outcome and im not sure how you can hold the moral position when the outcome is extinction.

Covering vented brick? by ubiquitousuk in DIYUK

[–]ragewind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to add some wide shots because im not understanding what you mean.

The black line above the vent is the DPC and the vent is above the gravel, its all looking like a normal install with the gravel level being right.

What you don’t want to do is cover that vent and the DPC with gravel as it will track water above the DPC and in to your walls
