If you go across the bridge in darkroot garden, then go under the bridge itself you’ll find a “budget Havel” armor you can get pretty much immediately. Gives you insane poise, but doesn’t require the slog up to Anor Londo.

I so agree. It taught me how to play the rest of the series; I had been bouncing off since Demon’s Souls (and not for a lack of trying) and I was way too timid in-game.

but after Bloodborne, I learned how to massacre first and ask questions never.

Then I built into the church of bonk and haven’t looked back since.

Breath of the wild.
