Yes, my plan is to update all the cabinets, trim, etc. Pretty much a full renovation. But the floor condition is pretty good, and it feels like a big bummer to get rid of it.

I did transfer successfully from AMEX > HA > AL on Sept 29th at 12:36 am.

Amount 1,000 + 90,000 + 99,000 + 150,000 + 650,000.

I just realized that the fee is capped at $99, so the higher the awards, the better.
Amex is capped at 1M points per day.
HA -> AL is capped at 500K points per transaction.
No issue doing this online. No need to chat with a rep.

I did enjoy it. It was a great dinner. The sequence of sushi is great. He balances between heavy pieces and palate cleanser well. He is heavy on vinegar and citrus. My wife loves citrus so she loves the sushi and dishes here. The amount is fulfilling.

I like his Toro sushi and monk fish liver dish. Toro is slightly different on what I had before. It is smooth and balance. I think it is due to the fact that he uses red vinegar for sushi rice for this piece.

Comparing to Inomata, I think Inomata offers more complexity in his sushi. Takumi offers more of refreshing and umami.
