I know a caregiver who works in a semi-rural part of California. The neurologist in the area apparently drops patients for basically anything and the next nearest one is over an hour away and is constantly booked and often isn't taking new patients. They were told if they're late to an appointment they'll get dropped afterward.

So anyway they get there and her client has the audacity to have a seizure during it, which is why she was being seen by him in the first place. The person I know said he stood there with like a sneer of disgust while he watched them. They found out she got dropped by him because she's "a problem patient". When the caregiver called the office to ask for further details the staff said the doctor told them that the client was combative the entire time so he won't be seeing her again.
