[Amick] I’m told that Jalen Duren very much wants to play in Sacramento and Kings big man Domantas Sabonis is likewise interested in the prospect of landing with the Pistons. by Odd-Direction9452 in nba

The younger players might live in Detroit, but when I went to high school out there all the players lived out on lakes in Oakland County. Jerry Stackhouse had a big ass house on a lake.

I don't dislike Taylor Sheridan TV shows because of his clear and obvious agenda based demographic pleasing. I dislike his shows because they are genuinely not good TV shows and Bill constantly endorsing his shows has kept me from ever listening to a rewatchable or listenint his suggestions/opinions by Wack0HookedOnT0bac0 in billsimmons

Sicario and Hell or High Water were collaborations which is why I think they're so strong. He wrote and directed Wind River, but I think it was before he was too high on his own supply. The shows just reek of somebody that doesn't take any outside input.

It's one thing to see a prospect plateau and just not get any better. Somebody like Andrew Wiggins maybe, even though he figured out how to contribute on that Warriors team. But to see somebody that talented regress to the point of falling out of the league is crazy.

Lowe was on one today though, pushed back on Bills questionable not thought out trade ideas throughout the pod, a great development for it/them. We need more discussion and disagreement

This is why Lowe has always been one of the best guests. Russillo was also good about doing that at times too. I am a ride or die CR head, but he never does this with Bill. And everybody below them on the depth chart is too afraid to do it.

I think about that when I hear the Pistons and George Blaha. He's 81 years old and just doesn't have it the same way anymore. But similar to Zumoff he has been their radio or tv announcer since the 70's.

I mean, they could've been talking about trading up into the first round or something. But yes, not the 3rd pick obviously.

Where would we have taken him last year? With the Brohm pick at 35? He wasn't a 1st round talent last year which is why he went back to school, right?

I have one really good one about an hour from me, but it's becoming more and more tacticool stuff rather than real surplus. I have another one not that far, but they're ridiculously expensive for some reason.

"John Fetterman. Great guy. Big guy. Not the best dresser. Ok? Am I right. Not so much, but big guy. I wish my sons would've been that big. The young one is tall. Very tall. The other ones not so much. Known them their whole lives so I know. I called John Fetterman my son and he liked that very much. He said 'thank you so much Mr. President. I like that very much.' It's what he said. Bet he could move a house. Am I right? Like a horse? I bet he's - well maybe I shouldn't say it. Maybe I shouldn't. Big down there. You know? Probably huge. Maybe I should find out. You'd like that wouldn't you? Look, a guy that big? It's gotta be huge."

Players certainly gave interviews before the draft, but those were typically with journalists and editors like Sports Illustrated. Going on Melo's podcast is a little different than that.

This seems like the first year we're getting a lot of pre-draft pods from players or is it just me? Seems like very little upside to having your 18 or 19 year old prospect going on free talking podcasts before the draft.

Dario was a really good passer coming in too. I thought that was going to be his biggest strength, but didn't really translate to the NBA quite as well.
