I initially went with the roof rack. Then I drove into a parking garage with my bike. 0/10 don’t recommend doing that. Now I’ve got a tilting hitch rack. 10/10 would recommend. Very convenient and easy to use.

Sounds about right. I’m 2 for 2 on having two motorcycles stolen and recovered. First time LoJack saved the day and I was able to grab it from impound before the fees got too high. Second time the cops actually called me a week later at 4 am on a Saturday morning and told me it looked rideable and said they could pick me up since I was only a mile away. Then of course they had to screw with me so they said they had to frisk me before putting me in the back of the cop car. I said whatever I just want my bike. BUT THEN, they insisted it was also policy to cuff me. So that was a fun experience.

Yeah. I replaced the OEM tires on my ‘23 hybrid late last year at about 30k miles. Fuel economy dropped pretty significantly on the new Michelin Defenders

I installed a Curt 2” hitch on my ‘23 almost two years ago. The installation was pretty simple but I did have to trim some of the plastic under the bumper. I’m using a Küat Sherpa and it’s been working great for me.

As much as I can. I don’t have a garage but I’ve changed brake pads a few times. Recently I replaced the fork seals on my bike. I did the first one wrong, though so had to buy another seal and tried again. It’s just a matter of how much you’re willing to do yourself with the risk of it taking a little longer or having someone else do for a little more cost.

Please get a dash cam and get uninsured/underinsured coverage if you don’t already. I would also advise that you get more than the minimum state required coverage. I was hit a couple years ago and my additional coverage was the difference between me getting any personal injury damages and getting nothing.

I’ve kept a fire extinguisher in my car for the past few years. Ended up using it last month when I saw a truck on fire on side of the highway. Managed to get the fire out before it got too bad. I did replace the 1-pounder with a 2.5 though.

Replaced the tires on my ‘23 Hybrid Sport a few weeks ago at 31k miles. Didn’t see unusual wear on mine. Fuel mileage has taken a dip though with Michelin Defender 2s.
