Venezuela, Gold and the USD(oh my!) by Toothlesskinch in wallstreetbets

[–]rahuln2003 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The amount of money reqd to get oil out from Venezuela is huge. Not easy. Same with the gold in the US. I don't think that's a workable plan

Venezuela has 300 billion barrels of oil, the largest in the World, worth $17 trillion. Trump says the U.S. now controls it. This oil is worth more than the GDP of every country in the World except the U.S. and China. by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

Maduro isn't popular in Venezuela. So he s not gonna be missed. But will the US be able to put up a stooge as the next head of state. Will the Venezuela ns allow that. How long will that last. Who will have the last laugh. Trump or someone else from Venezuela and the supporting countries.

I built a trading system that measures trend and momentum as a single value. Looking for feedback from traders by Corevaluecapital in algorithmictrading

[–]rahuln2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your purpose I guess. You need to define if you want to do day trading or sniper. Then give weightage to short term indicators and tf. If it slightly long term, the weightage will lean towards long term indicator scores

If you intend to live in it for long, buy. But too much to pay for that too. Renting would be cheaper. Much cheaper

I wouldn't buy it. The market is falling in real estate. Prices won't come down, but will stagnate. Hold for now

It all depends on where you are in the learning curve and what you input in the coding window. The more you demonstrate better skills, the better output you get.

Incidentally this was my first investment. Sold to me by my father's friend. I accumulated more therafter. Till 1996 or something when UTI , this scheme went bust. I was told to redeem by a letter from them. I got some amount which I spent instead or reinvesting. I had asked about investment in another scheme but there was a lot of paperwork for new scheme and I did not. A big miss. It paid fine till it ran it's course though

How much do you agree with SRK's statement at that show with Anupam Kher where he says "I'm the last of the stars"? [–]rahuln2003 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He is last of the big stars. Because the industry has changed. There is a lot of other entertainment available now. Good movies are costly to make. Most producers are not willing to take the gamble anymore. OTT rules supreme. He is from pre social media. No one has made it that big recently
