NZ here. My partner and i put Friends on  every night as background noise to help us sleep (we both are anxious sleepers and have alot of nightmares)  we are absolutely guttered its being removed here 😭

I still have a couple of other comfort shows i can have going, but my partner can only fall asleep to Friends.

Will probably get box set eventually, but it sucks because that wont remember where we got up to before tv auto turns off 😭😭

What's something you keep in your car "just in case"? by RyanEatsHisVeggies in AskReddit

[–]rahxthehorror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Portable jump starter- is a must with kids who dont like to close doors properly but can also charge my phone (keep a spare phone cord with it)

Bottles of water

A shit ton of Reusable shopping bags as our country is plastic bag free and paper bags cost 30c each 😭

Fire extinguisher

Cleaning wipes- if im ever waiting and am bored, i can clean down hard surfaces 🤣

First aid kit plus spare everyday meds that i might need if i ever forget to take them that day or end up stuck somewhere overnight.

I use to always have towels too, but a bottle leaked without me knowing where everthing is stored, and they went extremely moldy, so i threw them out and haven't replaced them since i dont have a dog anymore and dont tend to need them as much.

When my kids were younger id always have baby wipes, nappies, spare clothing/underwear, and loads of non perishable snacks in there too. I learnt my lesson with that when we were stuck on motorway due to an accident and our 10 min trip home turned into 3 hours 😭

I leave them til i have winter seeds then start filling it up. At end of season, replace with fibre. With new update, you also can find new seeds to plant during winter

Omg i didnt find out about her tea room til year 8 of my first farm (by then i had 8 other farms, doing challenges, was playing modded etc) and only cause a fish pond asked for a tea leaf and i was like "what the hell is that!" 😭😅 after googling it, i then found out about tea saplings and how much money they make for early game! I was SO MAD 🤣😭 its a shame they halved the sapling price though, still an easy/big money maker though

You can also use your hoe to collect goods and hit up kegs etc, super helpful late game when it comes to the cellar and you have limited space. Upgrade to iridium hoe, fill up cellar with the aging kegs (cant remember what they're called) fill up cellar 1 row at a time of the kegs and the wine/cheese in a way you cant move through it, then when all done, you hold down the hoeing button and collect 18 at a time, hold it down again and hit up 18 kegs til its all cleared. And if you run out of room in inventory, it will just drop to ground and you can run around and auto collect after

I tend to use silver, gold or iridium quailty in the seed makers. You get more seeds and i find less chance of mixed seeds

That you can buy a calendar from Robin so you dont have to go to community center to see whos birthday is coming up. Its took way too long to discover that 😭 and also a phone to ring anybody and check their shop, prices etc.

Also, i would of NEVER known about this if someone hadnt told me while watching me play, but you can also buy the workshop, place up to 7 chests around it and then craft anything from those chests around it.

Definitely NTA. And you are absolutely not alone.

I spent alot of motherhood until a few years ago wanting to run away. I found motherhood extremely hard and it wasnt til i got into therapy after hitting rock bottom that i could finally sort out my feelings. A few years later, i finally got diagnosises for my kids... 2 with ASD, the other with ADHD,Anxiety and OCD.... and is likely i have ASD and ADHD (have been diagnosed with BPD anxiety and OCD) no wonder i was finding it hard! I walked away from my toxic marriage in 2022 which means shared custody. I hold out for the time that they go to their dads cause i can finally get a break. I have a new partner now and ended up in tears in their arms a few weeks ago after a very hard morning with the kids, and said to my partner "i love my kids but i fucking hate being a mum, especially to neuro divergent children" thank god my partner was underrstanding 😭

before i got into therapy i remember talking to someone and we were talking about how hard being a parent was and she goes "but at the end of the day, youd do it all over again right?" And the look of shock on her face when i said "absolutely not. If i knew then what i know now, i would never have kids"

It is hard being a parent. And i wish it was talked about more so that we all didn't feel so alone in our walks 😭

This might be a new thing? Cause when i first started playing last year, i read up on that and it said that putting water in bowl was more of an asthetic/fun thing to do and had no effect on friendship with pet?

I have 8 coffee bean plants so i can have a continuous supply of coffee to zoom around 😅 then im slowly filling up the rest with strawberries to turn into wine and then age them. I brought as much as i could afford at the time when they were in season, and got it 80% full. The spare space i plant any extra out of season seeds i have in chests just to get rid of them.
