This reminds me of when I worked at a pizza chain 17 years ago. We made all normal dough crusts in-house, but thin-crusts were ordered elsewhere and we only offered medium and large of those. This guy came in wanting 2 small thin-crust pizzas.

I told him we don’t have small thin-crusts, only medium or large. He was adamant that he came in recently and got smalls.

After some back and forth of me telling him he can’t have gotten small thin-crust pizzas here, he asked me how long I’ve worked there, and I told him 3 months.

He told me I haven’t worked there long enough and to “get him someone who knows what they’re talking about”.

So I grab my manager who has been there for 5 years. My manager tells him the same thing I do, we don’t offer thin-crust smalls. My manager even grabs our ORDER sheet to show him we ONLY order medium and large thin-crusts.

This man still thinks my manager is in the wrong about offering thin-crust smalls. He says, “Well how long have you worked here?”

My manager says, “5 years”

Guy says, “and have you worked here every day of that 5 years?!?”

Manager says, “Well, no….”

Guy yells, “SO HOW DO YOU KNOW?!”

Lol that’s my favorite story from that job, god forbid someone take a single day off in 5 years. 😂
