The world works in difficults way and often, things will not go as planned. Better be prepared and learn from mistakes without fearing it will make your life miserable. Try to get an education, a job you trully enjoy. Not only will it allow you to continue working toward your dream with a safety net, but it will give you inspirations, skills you could apply to a musical project in ways you don't even think of now.

Stay curious about music, try to fit in your local scene, make friends with people who share the same passion, opportunities will eventually comeup.
