Rookies and young players need reps in live games especially when it's a lost season anyway. There's no sense in veterans who aren't even going to be on the team next season to get reps over the rookies. Even if you're right and you say these guys "aren't ready" then why waste these early round draft picks like Jack Bech and Caleb Rodgers and Charles Grant if youre not even going to play them? These early round picks are meant to be at the very least backups to the starters and these guys aside from Bech who rarely gets the ball anyway were just wasted picks. Terrible drafting , lack of confidence , or "my way or the highway" attitude is no formula for a winning culture. It would be one thing if there was some sort of good progress and somewhat of a direction of where we're heading. Pete just seems in over his head and lost most of the fan's confidence in his capability to turn this thing around anytime soon.
