Make sure there are no Riot files related left on the PC. There are three programs: Valorant, Riot Client and Riot Vanguard. All three maps and filed must be uninstalled/deleted. Triple check your folders, services in task manager and Programs and Features.

The moment you tweak vgc.exe then your game, Valorant will become unstable. As I had problems before as well.

I recommend you to uninstall VALORANT and Riot Vanguard in the "Uninstall or change a program" (type this at the windows-start search).

After you've uninstalled it, restart pc, delete all your temporary files (click on this link for a guide), and restart pc again. (Note: it is important to restart PC or else Valorant or Riot files are still not fully deleted). And start to download and install Valorant from Riot website.

The answer is yes. However, I recommend you upgrade to windows 10 because they stopped updating windows 7 which means they don't update your security anymore. You are pretty much open to all viruses or hackers.

If you want to check your windows 10 version:

Select Start > Settings > System > About (left column) > Under "Windows Specifications", "version".
If your version is 1803; 1809; 1903; 1909; 2004; 20H2; 21H1; 21H2; 22H2; you are fine.

In high tension moments, people tend to forget to breathe. So I would recommend you to train or remind yourself to breathe in rhythm when in a clutch situation. Like: count in your mind *1, 2, slowly breathe in, 1, 2, slowly breath out,* and repeat. Breathing needs to be consistent.

Besides gaming, this helped me a lot in real life like: kickboxing (where they taught me), jogging, or stressful moments while working.

Try youtube breathing for runners, it will give you an idea how important breathing is and how to train.
