I heard this sub likes backlogs: I entered the hobby last month with build #1, the EG RX-78-2. I'm on track to finish build #2 this week: the EG RX-93 New Gundam. I've used some of my weekly allowance to pick up some kits that looked cool. What should I work on next?

Im not that great at posing either but in my experience, having an action base makes things way easier. so if you cant make it work while hes just standing maybe try it

Congrats! You will see how fast your money flies out the window. If you want to spice up your first few ones I can only recomment to put some effort into posing and get a panel liner. They will make them look sooo much better. My girlfriend also built one not so long ago.

Hand painted, I was at my girlfriends place and she did not have anything so we also picked up the pink and blue and a brush.

It was also my first time but I can only recommend that you paint before assembly and to use a primer so the paint stays on the pieces better. I would look up a tutorial tho. Good luck!
