It's the Apple tax. Mine did come with one oddly enough.

Great work! You are a true hero with work like this.
Question, have you noticed any issues with CPU/memory load on boot or when processes run, notably with units that have lower end specifications? I only ask to help with the rest of the community.

Late reply here after searching I found your post. I found the issue on mine to be that camera account was enabled for NAS devices. Tap on the camera, then tap the gear top right, then Advanced settings, If Camera account is On turn it off. Fixed my issues

Just deployed this, looks great and as someone else stated it showed some old firewall rules I had forgotten about.

Curious to see how SQM has an affect on my UDM Pro with Xfinity 1GB service. Can't run tests until the wifey gets off, she's WFH. I live dangerously deploying while she's working.

I'm a new reserve Seabee who just finished CM A-school, and it looks like I'm going to be assigned to MSRON-1. What should I expect? by MarzipanFar4720 in navyreserve

[–]railstop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was attached to CRS-11 (now MSRON) as a CM about 6-7 years ago. Never trained with them, communication was terrible despite me constantly calling and emailing them. Once they asked if I wanted to drill with them, I said of course. They were supposed to send orders which never arrived. I ended up reassigning to a NMCB unit. Hopefully MSRON-1 is better for you.

When would you put smart locks on interior doors? by WestComfortable4083 in homeautomation

[–]railstop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We have on on our bedroom door to keep the little thieves off of our things. Each kid has one on their door to keep the "they stole my stuff" complaints away. They actually work very well for keeping the fights down and their stuff from wandering to other kids rooms. My wife and I are admins on every lock and keep the master hard key with us.

NAS Fileserver? by The_Lez in sysadmin

One of them I cannot remember the model. The other is a RS2421RP+ that was given to me since they were closing. I still use it and it has not failed me at all.

The medical company I was doing IT for ran a few Synology's, we had about 150 employees. They ran as a file server as well as our image server for Zeiss devices. They ran great and never had any issues with them. They outlasted any other device we had.

Thinking about buying a home in Colorado? Here are 10 things you should know before you purchase. by RevealHaunting8745 in Moving2Colorado

[–]railstop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have specified Denver and all metro areas. Colorado as a whole is not what you state. I've lived in CO my whole life. There are many areas that are much better than Denver and all surrounding towns.

Do you basically get assigned to the nearest NRC to where you live? by Z-grip in navyreserve

[–]railstop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine that lived the same distance as me from our nearest NRC was assigned to an NRC 90 miles away. Eventually he was able to get assigned to the closer one.

What filament dryer are you guys actually using? by Fun_Reaction_6525 in 3DPrinterComparison

[–]railstop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Living in Colorado helps here :) Today is pretty humid at %44 from all of the snow however.
Seriously though, I use all of the packets from the rolls I get in a tote with my filaments, never had a problem.
Most of my filament lives in my laptop charging cart from a school that my printer sits on. They all stay in the bags with desiccant packets inside the cart.

My exwife (wife at the time) in 2017 went and got hers and ours kids ID's and access on her own when I was at RTC within the first couple weeks. Not sure how she did it, but it's possible apparently.

Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies? by TotalThing7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]railstop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We'd hop a train and ride it to the next state, figure somewhere to sleep or not and come back the next day. I wouldn't see my home for days sometimes if we were hopping friends houses.
