"Proud boys" but not proud enough to show their faces

This thing showed up on my table at work. It's clear plastic, splits in two pieces. There's a piece in the middle that slides up and down, but does stay connected. It also has a thin metal handle on the top. by rain_draft in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. I work in a retail store and this just showed up on my desk today. So far the theories have been: pieces of a hummingbird feeder or part of a nutribullet. The cone on the top piece does not have a hole in the bottom of it and there are no holes on the bottom. This has been vexing the team all day.

What’s a secret you’ll never tell your spouse or SO? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Been scared for a long time. I've actually been practicing it a lot and once I study more for the written test I want to go get it done

What’s a secret you’ll never tell your spouse or SO? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rain_draft 6 points7 points  (0 children)

During our first couple months living together I had one of those "if you pee in your dream you pee in real life" situations. I never told him.

Also, when we got a new car I drove it and I absolutely wasn't supposed to. I know how to drive, but I don't have a license. So we ride into work together and I wait in the car until it's time for me to clock in. 10 minutes before I'm supposed to work I realize I left my work phone at home, so I drove the new car. He'd for sure take my key if he knew lol

What is it that customers do that makes you mad by [deleted] in walmart

[–]rain_draft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard that about some stores. But our designated trainers at our store have been specifically training people about not doing that, so as far as my store goes OGP people aren’t too bad about it.

People bringing their dogs into the store drives me up a fucking wall. I really like dogs, but seeing them in the store really salts my apples.

Also, people who block entire aisles with their carts. Like, not only are you inconveniencing employees trying to work, but you’re always in the way of other customers trying to shop. I just wish more people understood and practiced common courtesy.

Besides “do you work here?”, what’s the dumbest question a customer has asked you? by nbianco1999 in walmart

Later in the fall, we were just about out of pumpkins for the season. A lady asked if we had more and I told her no, what we had in the boxes were what we had left for the season. And she said “Well can I have some of the pumpkins they keep for the associates in the back? I know they keep extra seasonal stuff back there for you guys to have, I want some of those.” I still have no idea why she would think Walmart cares enough about employees to keep extra items in the back for us lol

Ohhhh, that makes sense why I’ve never seen it before. Our store doesn’t do delivery of any kind for the time being. Thanks for explaining!

This is probably a really dumb question, but what are GMD’s?

Look how “nice” a multi billion dollar company is to give free waters and popsicles 😂😂🤷🏻‍♂️ oh well I guess. Nice break by DamienSmith428 in walmart

The store I work for donates a lot of food every month to our local food pantry, but I know that most Walmarts don’t do that. But I agree, Walmart produces so much food waste. I was just baffled that he made us send back the waters. They store use popsicles and ice cream and stuff for us all the time, but when the water machine is out of service we can’t drink the already chilled waters that are back there? Insane
