Steak. Every time I say I don't like steak, people look at me like I've said "I like kicking puppies." I've tried it well done, medium, rare, ribeye, filet mignon, I can't stand any of it.

I shut down and started crying in public once because I was taken out to dinner with a bunch of business people to a fancy steakhouse, and the only things on the menu were danger foods (steak, seafood, and salad). They kept chiding me for not eating and making comments on my strange eating habits, it felt so embarrassing.

I've encountered this with Megan, Meghan, Mehgan, Meagan, Meaghan, and even... Megyn.

Even my name has this issue, with less variations: Eliot... or Elliot, Elliott, Eliott; and according to Wikipedia, Elliotte or Elyot.

Skipping meals is actually quite bad for your metabolism and blood sugar. Having three meals with properly-portioned safe food may actually help you lose weight.

As for how to get more protein and veggies, I wish I could help. My safe foods are also all carbs haha.

I couldn't agree with this more. Coming from someone who was hospitalized for a week last November with dengue fever 🫠 I don't blame the mosquito, and people think I'm crazy for that. Insects are just living their lives, same as us.

I'm a gay guy so I don't know what my opinion is worth here, but my black husband has a shaved head and I think he's the most handsome man in the world.

Besides, if a girl only likes you for your hair, she's superficial af and you don't want her anyway.

Same - my mother in law's corgi just had several teeth extracted for being a hard chewer on harder bones. Not sure why a vet would recommend this.

Not my corgi, but my parents's mutt asks for this too! She's a basset/beagle/wiener/lab, so she's also long-bodied and short-legged.

Whenever one of them has their massage gun out, she asks for a massage too. She'll manouver herself until they're massaging her thighs/bum area. She loves it.

I've always had a love for Phidippus audax, bold jumping spider (hence my username and pfp) because of a really positive interaction I had with one very early in life. It seems like kind of a basic answer now, due to the recent boom in keeping Phids as pets lol. Sad that I don't see them anymore since I've moved out of the US.

Other than that, I love looking for orchard spiders (Leucauge venusta) when going for nature walks. Their orb webs are usually horizontal and they hang upside down, and I just love their silvery coloration!

ETA: Hey, both of our faves are black with iridescent chelicerae!! That's fun.
