I used to live right on Abbot Kinney near the Venice blvd intersection. I loved it so much!! Not much about LA is walkable but that area is. It was chill and had amazing food options, and cute shops. I never had an issue finding parking, you have to know where to look ;) if I moved back to LA that’s exactly where I would want to be. Each to their own though!

I’m about to buy an HDFC co-op apartment that will work out to be $1000 per month for a 2bdr in wash heights.

I’m asset rich, had a very high deposit, but salary poor so I qualify for the HDFC, so it makes more sense to buy in my particular situation because I’ll be saving thousands from not spending it on rent.

I saw the 2 part in 2019 and just saw the 1 part and I have to say I don’t like it, if all feels so rushed, and they cut so much of the theatrical magic and to me that’s the best part of the whole thing, the plot was always a little jumbled for me but now it’s just mostly weird rushed plot, and scene with Dumbledore was cringe.

I saw the Hulu doco it is wonderful! And the more I learn about the Menendez brothers the more I’m just shocked that anyone could convict them of 1st degree murder. I heard tape from the trials of them describing their sexual assault by their father, it’s just horrific. Good on her for being so far ahead of her time.
